The only thing popular in GT is the SSJ4 transformation and Omega Shenron.

They aren't going to add SSJ4 goku or vegeta, not as the vanilla roster due to we already having two gokus and two vegetas, and Gogeta isn't as popular as Vegeto.

Vegeto also had a recent cameo in Super while Gogeta is M.I.A since GT.

Omega I doubt it will be featured in Fighters Z. He is the most popular villain in GT, but he isn't as popular compared with most villain or characters from Z or even Super.

I have strong doubts that we will see anything GT related in Fighters Z initial roster. Maybe as dlc but even that is a stretch

Well it seems to me since they did put in golden freezy pops they are ofcourse trying to promote Super as well since it's popular now so i'd expect to see chars like Hit and Goku Black or Ningen fucker to be first available dlc.
Chars like Gotenks, Broly, Kid or Super Buu, adult Gohan and Beerus are pretty much guaranteed to get a base slot.
I just hope to see dlc later on i.e. Janemba, Ginyu or Launch/db chars, that have more different play styles than i.e. another saiyan with just cookie cutter tricks up his sleeve

It's pretty stupid for everyone on the team to give up their energy.
The only ones who could rationally do so were the ones in the stands since they aren't fighting anymore, and the androids since they have the infinite energy source thing.

Gohan, Piccolo and Frieza give up however much of their power so Goku can blow it on the Genki Dama which has NEVER WORKED (except the one time against Buu which was powered by the entire universe and Goku pushing it with a Kamehameha that probably did most of the damage).
The Genki Dama fails as expected, and Goku gets a deus ex machina to fight Jiren for a minute and that also DOESN'T WORK. Now Goku is totally exhausted, Jiren didn't give a single fuck. Meanwhile Gohan, Piccolo and Frieza are presumably drained a bit (and the next episode will probably have Frieza giving up even more energy to heal Goku just like how Goku did the same on Namek).

Vegeta is the only rational one. Fuck the Spirit Bomb.

Well I trust Arcsys for bringing good gameplay and a decent netcode to the table (besides maybe Xbone) but they always put dlc chars on the shelf for like 5 to 8 bucks, maybe push it to 10 since it's popular but yeah plenty of kids willing to lay down some cash for more Super characters.
I just hope they don't forget about some of the older well loved ones which have a more unique fighting style.

Only while he's forming it does he need to be normal.
When he's pushing it at a distance with Ki, he can be Super Saiyan (and if it does get knocked back at him, he can always turn on Super to absorb it).

Pretty much the opposite to how the show explained it. Goku was in danger and it awoke something inside of him. Like almost every transformation.
