it was pretty fun I played like 150 hours but never finished main story. I got too distracted when I installed the big bouncy titties mod and just went around pick pocketing off all the females clothes. Morrowind is still the ultimate elder scrolls RPG imo though.

it's complete garbage. not a single thing is executed well. 2/10 just for the soundtrack

I forced myself to make a male character and I managed to circumvent this that way.
Actually managed to play until level 30.
And when I feel like fapping I use my big titty succubus follower for that.

Thieves Guild questline treats you like a demented retard.
Main Quest treats you the same way yet instantly praises you as the most awesome being on Tamriel.
They removed Fighter's Guild for the shitty Companion's questline.
Mage's Guild is gone for College of Winterhold.
Daedric Quests are incredibly easy.
Spellmaking is gone.
Spells don't scale with your character, so at higher levels they do jack shit.
Enemy scaling is fucked.
The only actually decent Vanilla questline is the Dark Brotherhood one.
Dragonborn DLC was alright, I wish they would've been more faithful towards the locations, enemies, etc. in the original Bloodmoon DLC in Morrowind.
Dawnguard is just another fetch quest extravaganza, Soul Cairn is the dullest fucking location in any Elder Scrolls game ever.
No cool secrets.

I enjoyed the Sheogorath questline but that's about it

Dawnguard had Forgotten Vale though and the final temple location were great. Plot was also pretty nice

no Sup Forums just knows what a good game is and has played actual, real, good RPGs before in their life like Gothic or Dragon's Dogma
every single thing about skyshit is terrible. The story is generic "chosen one" bullshit. Combat is just left clicking until you're low on health, then pausing the game, drinking a health potion from the menu and then continuing to leftclick. The game has no RPG elements. You can know only 2 of the entry spells and be the archmage of Winterhold. You can have zero pickpocketing and sneaking skill and be the master thief. And worst of all, you can be the master of all guilds at once. And even after all that literally nothing changes in the world. The guards will still nag you about your stolen sweetroll and everybody else will treat you like trash. Not a single choice in your game matters or changes anything. The final fight between the stormcloaks and imperials is just 10 NPCs slapping each other. Any fun you could've had in the game is squashed by the scaling. The only reason anybody at all plays Skyrim is for the sex mods, or if he hasn't played a game before in his life.

I started replaying it recently, first I hade a great time, then the spell wore off and I started remembering just how fucking repetitive and boring this game gets.

Fuck the glitches, fuck the boring combat, fuck the hour long dungeons, fuck the endless MMO-tier quests, fuck the retarded AI, and fuck the lazy-ass writing; different VA's say exactly the same lines of dialogue, literally what the fuck Bethesda, this is not acceptable. The game is enjoyable for the first couple of hours because it gives off the illusion of being a better game than it actually is, then slowly but surely the tedium starts creeping up on you, and you realize what a fucking slog of a game it actually is.

I think it's actually like 4, because at some point you need flames and frostbite, but otherwise this is accurate.
As for nothing changing and guards saying shit, in a recent playthru I did the Companions because it had been since about the release of the game since I did that shit, and oh fucking boy, was it nice to become Harbinger and nothing change. Still have the radiant quest telling me to see the leaders for work, guards still remarked on me being that new member and ask if I fetch the mead or whatever.

Played 1000h with two buff nords with the same name and looks, making the same choices 4 years ago when i was 16, at the time i thought it was the GOAT but after playing a lot more games i can say i has a lot of flaws, mainly quests design and combat, still ambience and atmosphere are exellent and talking with npcs feels somehow magic even though they look likr mannequins

pretty fun

it's a funny old game because you sink right into the atmosphere and that fuels your early game. you do a few of the main side quests to completion and then it hits you that you aren't really enjoying it. you realise that the slight dopamine hit from competing quest objectives is keeping you going. the world feels depressingly shallow and you learn that there is no point questing or entering dungeons anymore because the reward will be no improvement on what you already own. you will fight slightly tougher draugr and then you conveniently end up at the entrance again. you aren't even listening to or reading the dialogue options any more. you see another dragon and the only thing you want to do is run away so you can fast travel

It's not bad. If nothing else it fixed Oblivion's awful leveling and experience system.

I found the dungeon design to be very bland. Dungeons are highly linear and there's always a barred door at the end that brings you back to the beginning.
