Is there even a noticeable difference between 60 and 120 FPS?

yeah but you have to have a pretty high IQ
Yeah I have a 144Hz monitor and it's totally worth it
Yes.
There's even a noticeable difference between 60 and 75hz to me.
fuck
120 fps is like what 20 fps is to 60fps, it's clear as crystal, night and day.. imo if you're not playing at 120hz you're not getting the optimal gaming experience
>2017
>doesn't have a 200Hz monitor
Retards, all of you.
But will it ruin 60 fps for me like how 30 fps is bad if you're used to 60 fps?
Yep. Have the right monitor and a non-shitty display port cable and you'll notice a difference on your fucking desktop. People claim its only noticeable on multiplayer fps games, but there's also a very noticeable difference in single player games.
>2017
>doesn't have 240Hz monitor
Only retard here is you, my friend.
Yes it will sadly, once you dine like a king it's hard to go back.
For me it depends on the game. I can handle 60fps on console still, on PC some of the same games feel choppy now at 60fps. As long as I hit around 90 or higher Im usually satisfied.
yes, now imagine going to from 144hz to playan a game on a console, it's like travelling back in time to watching cinema in the 1900s
Also makes in-game cutscenes look amazing.
Yes, quite so.

I play pc games at 144fps and console games at 30fps, I don't have a problem switching between the two
Probably.
>Is there even a noticeable difference between 60 and 120 FPS?
Yea, 60 FPS.
Do you need motion blur at such a high frame rate?
Yes. Usually, no.
I prefer 120fps in case of framedrops, but a monitorfag will tell you is a must
Yes, its impossible to play without it
Definitely.
Even the 96hz my monitor does is incredibly noticeable over 60hz. Best analogy I can come up with is going to 45fps from 30fps, but... better.
Some people will tell you it makes little difference but they probably have shitty eyes. I recently bought my first 144hz monitor and I fucking freaked out when I started moving the mouse around.
>shitty eyes
or they have shitty displayport cables
makes a huge difference
Yes, you can notice the responsiveness even with a 60hz monitor
Some people can see things at 1,000+ fps.
Even if your own ability is half of that, it is still factors above 60.
24 is minimum for smooth appearing movement.
I don't think the minimum should be an aim.
>nearly 2018
>doesn't have a 580hz interlinked dual layer with rebuff slidings
u r idiot
Unfortunately, it also makes prerendered 30fps cutscenes look even worse.
