I assumed she planted there on purpose so she could easily be identified but turns out it was a dumb convenient event.

YOU'VE DISRUPTED THE NATURAL ORDER
Original concept of Kaito and Maki by Kodaka
She wrapped it in her pink sweater.
Most women love dicks, while most men don't. More news at 11.
What's a cosplaycat criminal?
I know. But what are the odds of that happening? Shuichi didn't need the fiber to piece things together.
Criminal who cosplay into fictional villains
CANON 4EVER
I'd suggest you delete that RIGHT FUCKING NOW
If this was DR1, then Kyoko would have fall for Leon
I won't warn you again, motherfucker.
I don't buy everything Shirogane said. Even Maki-s feelings for Kaito were fabricated? How can you forge feelings from a very specific person to another like that?
It's not possible.
These two are best bros with their girlfriends
Cute.
Dude it's fiction
That's it fucker, end of the line for you
Her feelings aren't fabiricated but her memories ans taste in men is fabricated. It all depend on your past experience and she could affect those.
>You'll never have a bro with a gf while also having a cute gf
Fuck...
Is this really how Danganronpa ends?
>As long as I'm not Weedman, i want to participate
What did he meant by it?
You know how in media when you see two personality types you can tell right off the bat if they're going to click or not? Same idea. Not exactly controlling her feelings, but setting both of them up to easily get together.
I thought Kodaka wouldn't make a character worse than Akane after SDR2, but Kaito being so aggressively pushed into my face truly makes him Weedman tier.
Yeah, the fake memories of Maki made her a shut in who donn't trust people while Kaitos fake memories made him a reckless charismatic Naruto character which make her easily predict that they would connect in the killing game. She probably didn't predicted Suichi befriending him since she didn't knew that Kaede would die. Since he start in the same classroom as Kaede then she wanted them to click with one another. Kaito probably started in same classroom locker as Maki
This melts my heart. So cute
>for some stupid reason
Was Saihara a brainlet ?
You are just mad he cucked you. I personally started to FTE with him as both Kaede and later Suichi right in chapter 1 and 2
I wanted to believe he was related to Weedman due to similar way of clothing and same dislike of occult and narration making him look dumb. The fact that the story of the game push him into your character and even give him the best waifu made me orgasm,
So considering Tsugumi worded things specifically the worst way possible to bring the most despair, we have to take everything she said at face value.
Maybe the whole fiction shit was bullshit.
Yeah, that's the extent to which anyone was "controlled," really- they had a decent idea of how the characters would interact with each other, what role they'd take in the group, who would be more/less likely to kill someone, and so on, and could manipulate some things midway via motives and flashback lights, but there was nothing as explicitly scripted in as "X will fall in love with Y" or "A will commit the second murder on B."
Oh yeah, for sure. If everyone was as controlled as Kiibo was then things really would be entirely pointless. Thankfully everyone's got free will.
>COMMENCE SCRUM DEBATE
>THE AUDITION TAPES WERE REAL VS THE AUDITION TAPES WERE FAKED
me on the right
>THE AUDITION TAPES WERE REAL
They offer a solid backstory to the game and create good contrast between the pre- and post-brainwashed characters.
>implying is not the entire world vs Audition-kun
Not possible because there are elements that support her viewpoint like
Keebo listening to audience (Keebo deciding that they shoudn't see eachothers motive videos because audience learned from DR1 that it will lead to murder)
Monokubas flies recording everything to the audience
Monokuma and Monokubs making plenty of implications that they are being watched by the audience
Monokubs fucking up to prepare them for the game in the prologue and needing to repeat the introduction
etc
>backstory
Every other backstory in the game is a lie because of the flashback-light. The flashback-light could have just made this backstory up too.
There is no other answer to the story if you reject Tsumugis explanation. Stop being delusional and accept the V3 as the second universe rather than direct continutation of the anime
The auditions being faked doesn't do anything to link it to the anime or any other part of Dangan. It doesn't deny that the rest of the series is fiction or if it was really a TV show or any of that crap. All it does do is determine if the 16 were willing participants or not.
Which is exactly the audition tapes being real is the only way to give the game an actual backstory. If you believe that they are random people who got kidnapped the game gives no possible explanation for it.
>Tsumugi
Tsumugi was revealed to be untrustworthy, so we can't take everything she says at face value
>Keebo listening to audience
You know, if it wasn't for the fact that the audience changes their mind at the end of the game, I would've argued that it could've been literally anyone controlling Kiibo.
Why is Tenko such a cutie?
It may be obvious to everyone else but I'm finally starting to get good at monoloth treasure hunter. Still needs a ton of luck, but if you focus on eliminating blocks where the adjacent blocks are also 2 of the same color you get huge chains.
Instead of trying to calculate and make a luzzle where I try to get stuff to turn inti the same color I'm just going for what I mentioned and am getting bigger scores.
The explanation is the exact same either way. The game exists to give a peaceful but bored planet hope through the awful concept of killing 14 teenagers on live television every season. The question that remains is if TDR is actually finding people willing and/or stupid enough to play the rigged game or if they kidnap innocent bystanders as sacrifices.
What bothered me is that he literally never does anything for himself, ever. Chapter 2 is him trying to claim all the credit for Shuichi's investigation, chapter 3 has him useless because muh ghost phobia and chapter 4 is where he chimps out about Saihara choosing a truth he doesn't agree with. He gets better giving Ouma some credit for the plan in chapter 5, but it comes too late.
>The game exists to give a peaceful but bored planet hope
It may not be an actually peaceful planet, or the games are a way of forcibly keeping it """"""peaceful"""""". Think the hunger games.
The Monokubs were awful, I was cringing the entire time they were on screen. I actually liked Usami too, so I went in with an open mind.
Yeah. I can agree with that completely. For the funding and support that they receive, there is some kind of cover-up going up here at a high level.
Even if it's not the original DanganRonpa events if we assume they truly are fictional, there must still be a fear of a similar uprising of "Despair" occurring that they need to keep under foot. The Killing Games provide that, meaning that Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, and K1-B0 may have inadvertently sent the world down a road of civil unrest by ending them.
I was fine with them until I realised that they were going to photobomb every execution at their most dramatic moment.
Not really. If you assume that they were kidnapped you don't really know the reason (Why do they lie about it? Are there no willing participants? Are they really just random people? Is it the TV show they say it is?) and it makes Team Danganronpa more sinister without offering any real explanation.
Fuck this game
>not just playing Salmon Fishing on hard for easy love keys
>Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, and K1-B0 may have inadvertently sent the world down a road of civil unrest by ending them.
This is exactly what I want for any sequels going forward. Clearly, if the entire world was peaceful because of the fanatic love for danganronpa, then suddenly taking that away and turning at least more than half the population against it is going to leave a giant hole in that way of peacekeeping. That society's probably doomed to a civil war, or a revolution.
Team Danganronpa is probably a subset of the government. Why would just a reality show be allowed to have mass brainwashing devices, highly advanced military robots, extreme surveillance and mass broadcasting power if the government themselves didn't have that technology in the first place?
She needs to show more of that ass.
I have bad memory
Why would a peaceful but bored planet need laser death robots? Danganronpa didn't have any reason to give him lasers, so it stands to reason he already had them before Danganropa gave him his funny haircut and put him in the games.
Public perception of the Killing Games would likely soften a bit if they see videos of the players themselves essentially signing a verbal contract to be a part of it. Not just willingly but happily too. That itself may even attract a couple of actual willing participants (who would make ideal Mastermind characters). This likely deals with any lawsuit issues should any exist as well. There may even be people out there who believe it's all scripted due to the anime origins of the show and so don't even realise people are really dying in it.
You only have to get 45ish fish to double your money.
lmao I get 20 at most because I sperg out
I'm going to give it a try, betting all my 2000 coins
You don't need to memorize the whole lake.
Memorize the position of the 3 colors, catch the first two then don't even wait for the game to show the last color, immediately go for it since it's always in order.
Doing that you save a ton of time and can easily get the S
>Public perception of the Killing Games would likely soften a bit if they see videos of the players themselves essentially signing a verbal contract to be a part of it. Not just willingly but happily too.
It would be extremely fucked up, then, if the kidnapped participants were forced to make those videos to keep up the illusion that they did this willingly. We don't see what's behind everyone in those videos. For all we know they could literally have guns pointed at their heads.
>There may even be people out there who believe it's all scripted due to the anime origins of the show and so don't even realise people are really dying in it.
This might be why they're so resistant to recognizing it as anything but fiction in trial 6 and the sudden flip to "let's stop watching this" afterward. Imagine realizing that they're actually murdering people on your favorite crime shows.
>immediately go for it since it's always in order
Not on hard
>For all we know they could literally have guns pointed at their heads.
No need for such a hassle. The game repeatedly gives them false memories. The videos can be done while under the influence of another one.
It is. If it's red>green the third one will always be blue.
It's not always r>b>g. It can be r>g>b. Point is you'll always know who the 3rd fish is and the game gives you plenty of time to get 50+ fish for S rank
Yeah, with the game repeatedly giving them false memories, their consent to enter this game becomes extremely shaky. They could have been literally brainwashed to do so.
Anyone find it interesting Junko seems to be in every season of DR? I feel like Team Danganronpa are some kind of Junko fanatics that are keeping Junko's killing game alive, as well as keeping Junko alive as a series of fake masterminds using the memory lights
They're fake. The prologue personalities are the real personalities and going by the fact they got kidnapped, are scared of the situation, and don't recognize Amami means they most likely weren't kidnapped after they auditioned. And Amami's understanding of the situation would imply that no brainwashing prior to the Prologue occurred. However this raises a good question, If Danganronpa is w super popular tv show everyone one watches then why would no one out of 16 people recognize Amami? Or even the Monokubs?
I remember someone saying that the floor of the Cosplay Lab resembled the interview video's floor, implying she/team DR had those videos fabricated for any number of reasons
>and don't recognize Amami
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I never even thought of that! If they're all huge fans of Danganronpa to the point of auditioning to be in the killing game, then at least one person should've gone "woah, holy hell, that's the guy who survived the V2 killing games!"
You know if the first seasons really were just animes that means nobody got hurt in the making of them. That could mean that the original members of Team DanganRonpa really were just innocent content creators who created a hit show. But if they've moved to live-action murders, maybe there is a new "real" Ultimate Despair that have wormed their way into a position of power and are using the show to sow the seeds of their plan?
Yeah, that's a huge hole in the "they're all DR fans" theory. If they're all hyper DR fans, then why don't they recognize Amami, the survivor of the V2 games and (most likely) a celebrity in universe? If they've all been brainwashed to forget the existence of DR, then why does Amami clearly understand this is the lead up to a killing game and something he "expected" to happen?
This is 53th edition of Danganronpa, should be pretty normal for them that the survivor joins in the next game.
>dude just believe in urself buddy you can find the truth
>wtf how dare you reveal the truth fuck you
That's not the problem. The problem is they don't even seem to recognize who he is or his importance. Miu even addresses him directly and asks him why he's talking like he knows everything.
>If Danganronpa is w super popular tv show everyone one watches then why would no one out of 16 people recognize Amami? Or even the Monokubs?
Monokubs I could excuse as them being new characters introduced that season (The way Monokuma treats them certainly seems to support them). But yeah, they should know Amami or even the fact that "16 High School Kids wake up in a strange school" is how the last 52 seasons of the show that they supposedly love and auditioned for started. Amami being a returning character may also not need brainwashing like the newcomers hence why he retains more memories.
But they don't know who he is. There's no recognition of Amami or a "hey you're Amami Rantarou right?" If they're all huge super fans there should have been at least some reaction.
Not only that, but if they were already brain washed to forget that DR existed, then why didn't they also get their entirely new memories implanted into them already?
Sure, it's expected. But it's like seeing Chris Pratt on the set of the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Sure, he's supposed to be there, but holy shit Chris Pratt's right in front of you!
