God damn what a great and satisfying fighting game Tekken 7 is. It's so much fun to play when my buddy comes over and we dish it out with our favourite characters. Even the bowling minigame is a lot of fun and has depth, we always start end end by playing some rounds of tekken bowl.
As this is a thread related to fighting games, I feel obliged to mention the SFV arcade edition. It's good to hear that the game is shaping up, and even as a fan of 3D fighters first and foremost, I'm going to pick up SFV arcade edition on PS4 and have some fun with it.
It feels so good to not be a pleb and actually just enjoy fighting games without being a fatalistic pussy or a hostile asshole who is loyal to one franchise or company only.
Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, MvC and MK have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!
If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, MIGHT.

Yes you can but dont expect honorable lossss since the casual levels consist of shitters who think they belong in the mid to high ranks but refuse to play a new character or learn more about there own and keep mashing there characters gimmick move.
You'll start off losing alot but getting better naturally. Also its a great game to play with bros

Absolutely. They just held a tournament in South America and just watching pools, the level of play down there is a few steps above North America. Until you hit maybe Red/Purple ranks everybody sucks online.

If you first get used to the game, low level online play is possible. Everyone starts as a casual and it's already enjoyable at that level. But if you don't evolve, you'll get frustrated.
