I paid £22 for A Hat In Time on release and feel no regret. I'm having a fantastic time.
I paid £60 for the collectors edition of Samus Returns and also had a blast. I enjoyed all the stuff it came with.
I think those are the only games I've bought this year for full price.

My last couple of purchases were gw2 xpacs, mirrors edge catalyst, dishonored 2, and hitman. No regrets desu I got plenty of value from them and still do.
I can't imagine what it's like to feel regret over silly luxury purchases.
MGSV, Overwatch and BoTW are both the last games I bought and paid full price for them, all at release
The first two were a blunder and BoTW was really good for not being dungeon centered

Never again. The sharkcards ruined online. I get that servers cost money to maintain, but they don't cost so much that you have to riddle an otherwise good multiplayer experience with near mandatory micro transaction. I shouldn't have to spend 50$ or spend two days grinding for a digital car I'm going to lose once they decide they've made their money and off the servers.

Recently Final Fantasy IX on PSN and I'm having a blast.
Excluding digital only, it was Crash on PS4 and I regret it. 40 Euros down the drain and no fun to be had.
Splatoon 2, I play it on weekends and it's still fun after 100 or so hours. So no I don't regret it.
Warriors All Stars. Got my money's worth and still have endings and story paths to unlock.
The Witcher 3: I quit after an hour
