Is this good Silent Hill game?
Is this good Silent Hill game?
Yes, this good Silent Hill is a game.
Yes. It is indeed good Silent Hill game.
Literally the worst in the series,
It's alright, this one and Origins are the last one that are even remotly worth playing. Anything from the PS3/360 era is just shit
Completely underrated plot. Gameplay-wise, it's basically just wasted potential, but the narrative is surprisingly gripping.
Good soundtrack too.
>saying this when Homecoming, Downpour, and fucking Book of Memeries exist
nah
I liked it.
Yes
Play through it
Also the lighting, voice acting, models, facial animations, and attention to detail was amazing. If only the gameplay was better.
Is psp version okay too?
Perfect example of a game that had everything BUT good gameplay. The decision to eschew combat altogether was a shitty one, as was breaking up the game between normal walking sections and Nightmare sections. The game would've been more tense and scarier if the game just played like a traditional survival horror game, plus with psych profiling, they really could've done something more, like giving you completely different enemy types depending on how you were profiled.
No. It's a good game but SH1-4 are the only good silent hill games.
Play SH1 instead
It has arguably the best story after 2. It's honestly my second favourite game in the series in general.
Does SH1 control well on psp? I never played PSX game on it...
>underrated plot
Have you not seen the fucking shilling everywhere including this site? Who cares about it anyways, as it's a shitty retread of the Making of SH2 and is borderline fanfiction
You have to switch the control style in the options menu, as the default on PS1 uses R2 to aim, which the PSP does not have. Switch it to R1 aiming
No not really. Silent hill will be always blood and rust for me, with a solid combat system and 2dep4u story. this had none of this and is fully closed/resolved (except for some characters that were altered). its a good horror game tho, probably the best run away from monster game there is
>that chase sequence in the woods
Every fucking time I decide to replay this game, I always get to this part and give up. The layout of that whole area is too fucking confusing for me. I swear to god, the only reason I beat the game that first time I played it is because I lucked out and somehow found the exit. No other chase sequence in the game gave me any real trouble either.
it's fine and so was the next game from the same writer but then it won every award at the independent games awards or whatever that year and exposed them for being the nepotistic shills they are
I liked the flashlight/cell phone stuff with the wiimote, even though it wasn't uncommon to see that stuff in other games. too bad the gameplay wasn't better
