The problem is though, that people were whining and complaining just for the sake of it. If people really wanted local coop that badly, they would have just played the console versions. Even if they had added local play to the PC, people would complain about something else. I don't even know how they would structure D4 to appeal to casuals who buy it and play for maybe a month and leave and also the hardcore who want to make up tons of builds and grind. Starts would be an actual good campaign and bosses

I'd play D2 again if they got rid of reflect/immune mobs. Not being able to use my main spells against everything is pretty awful.

well, they both have pretty bad class design due to the combat system, shit is too spammy and easy, diablo 3 made it a bit less mono-spammy but it's still basically just a simplistic rotation (plus they added cooldowns which was also genuinely fucking awful in a quick-paced game like diablo)
