8 and 6?
I want to say 17
14
No
If the left displays an incosistent +1 number. I don't see how it can't be 7 grams (showing up as 8)
I don't even understand what is going on:
Two equal sugars, or one sugar weighed twice?
Both displaying either 8 or 9? Going off that image.
Are we on purposely missing some information or is the puzzle actually this shit in game?
>both scales show 9
>only 8 or 9 would appear as 9 on the broken display
>sugar is 1g heavier than 9g, despite 10 not being able to be displayed
maybe the total is 18 (10+8), if the scales max out at 9
It's 14.
The scales aren't actually lit up in the image, so if both of them weigh 7, you get 8 on the left and 6 on the right.
...
probably RAPE ME, if I'm remembering QWERTY correctly
please post the answer. i really don't get that puzzle
nvm. looked it up
left scale has 8, shows as 9
right scale has 6, shows as 5
together its 14g
good old layton. always leaving out critical information for solving the puzzle, such as:
-the scales can have different amounts of sugar on them
-it is measured in a way, so that the faulty displays don't get in the way, i.e. it shows correct numbers
You should be able to solve this.
16. sugar should be 8g, one left it shows 9, and on right it shows 7.
...
Yeah, this just seems like a translation issue.
>panties on the laptop
How can a chidlren's game get away with this?
Any other information?
why the hell did they make the non-functioning lights a different color from the regular ones instead of just putting the X over it and leaving it the same color? It makes it look like both displays show 9 instead of being blank.
But that's GUTSMAN'S ASS
There's no translation issue, it's exactly as it is described in the text.
Which game are these from?
>-the scales can have different amounts of sugar on them
But this is common knowledge?
It's not a laptop.
layton's mystery village
I pirated it the other day, it's fine for a mobile game
Anyway to pirate the daily puzzles or do I have to wait a year?
Why can't it be 4 on the left appearing as 5 too? What the fuck is the logic being apllied here - or did they just have these two images and a poor translator had to try to write a puzzle that fits them?
Currently playing through Curious Village. How good are the other main Layton games?
Probably not
Because 4 and 5 look different in more ways than the lower-left light.
If you look at the letters next to each of those letters on a keyboard and apply the following code:
Above, Ontop, Right, Right, Right, Right
The answer is RAPE ME. It make sense, because in order to rape someone (and have it feel right) you got to drop from above right ontop of someone.
It's easy when you read it well, but I was understanding it initially as
The right hand is being showed one gram heavier than it is on the left hand scale, and the left hand one gram light than it is on the right hand scale.
It should be something more along the lines of
The sugar on the left-hand scale is showing up one gram heavier than its true measure and vice versa. Otherwise it's a bit confusing.
What kind of crappy scale only goes up to 9 grams?
What you said doesn't fit the description of the puzzle nor the answer. Don't they have 6 becoming 5?
Make both displays 5 and one is secretly 6, one is secretly 4.
Ooooh wait I understand what you mean now.
Oh fuck! I just understood this puzzle. I'm angry at the description.
1 through 4 are the high point
5 and 6 are worse.
7 is an utter embarrassment
Is 7 the mobile game, Ace Attorney, or Mystery Journey?
>mobile game
There's an actual game called Layton 7 on phones? I thought that was cancelled.
I meant Lady Layton Mystery Journey. I haven't played any of the other spin-offs because I can't figure out how to pirate Layton Brothers
