I watched End of Eva with my mom this weekend. She likes Ghibli movies but had never seen anything like this, we watched Death:Rebirth before to get her up to speed on the plot.

She loved the classical music and (I didn't even have to ask) she told me she preferred Rei to Asuka. She didn't say anything during the hospital scene but everything during Komm Susser Tod made her get really sad.

She didn't like it as much as like Spirited Away but I'm glad she sat through it for me. Based reifag mom.
