>Its a DnD game with a bunch of the games voice actors based around Mordor to promote the upcoming game
>It ends up being more entertaining than all of Shadow of Mordor, and probably Shadow of War

Are videos games in a bad place when the game's advertising is more interesting than the product? The only time I could even remember that happening was back in the 90s when pure shovelware garbage would get interesting full page ads in Playstation Magazine.

>that old asshole wearing a suit to dnd

He did that even when he was a guest on the mainline Critical Role show

I think he is one of those old fashioned types

>The voice of Reinhardt is an old man who wears a suit to DnD

Don't say old fashioned types. He's just an old man and also an embarrassment.

No, tabletop games are just much more interesting.

Critical Role is LITERALLY the only redeeming thing to ever happen on twitch

Isn't the guy on the top left the VA for Mcreeee?

How do I get into Crit Role? I was meaning to watch it, but the 3 hour episodes look really daunting to go through. Can I listen to it like a podcast?

they actually have the first 55~ episodes available as a podcast, so you could listen that way. i binged all 100 episodes in three weeks, but that's because i had literally nothing to do.
just a warning, the first 27 episodes have a terrible player who almost ruins everything, so it can be hard to get through, but once he leaves it's a lot better. they're also 1 episode away from ending this campaign so you could just start watching live once they start a new campaign

Yep, he is also the DM and super well respected in the 5e community.

The first 50 or so episodes are now in podcast format here criticalrolepodcast.geekandsundry.com/

I usually just leave it on my second monitor as im doing other things and just watch big moments/episodes.

If your just starting out try from the first episode, but if it doesn't catch your fancy start on episode 14 (I THINK its called "Shopping and Shipping") since the first 13 episodes are entirely self contained with the exception of a few minor character introductions.
