Bravil

Bravil

home, at least it was before the elves fucked everythang up

>Building walls around a shanty-town
That town sucks major ass and is a good example of how you should not design towns.

oblivion is fucking ass

Bravil was always the worst Oblivion town
>everything made of wood
>ugly
>full of skooma crackheads
>probably smells like shit

Came here to post this

canonically smells like shit

you make a good point
walls come after sturdy homes are settled

come to Bravil

Zendar

I think they had a good idea with the wooden keeps on the walls.
All the walls being the same is weird in Oblivion when all the cities are so architecturally different

How do boats leave cyrodill when pic related is in the way?

It just works

>Bravil
Easily the worst town in Cyrodiil.
If you are an actual man of taste you would live in Skingard and spend your days as a true patrician or settle down in Anvil and savoir the beautiful town and its surroundings.

shack in imperial city is best house

Invasions of daedric armies are part and parcel of living in Cyrodiilic city.

A pass is added by the "Shipping in Cyrodiil" mod. You're absolutely right that this is a design issue.

How the fuck does Oblivion look so much worse than Morrowind?

Bravil,
Where hearts were entertaining June,
We stood beneath the amber moon,
and softly murmured "someday soon."
We kissed, and clung together then
tomorrow was another day,
the morning found me miles away,
with still a million things to say.
And now, as twilight dims the skies above,
recalling thrills of our love,
there's one thing I'm certain of:
Return, I will, to old Bravil.

My little brother also asked me this as he has played oblivion and not Morrowind so when he saw me playing Morrowind he asked me what Game it was. He was shocked to find out it was the previous game before oblivion. Except for the character models Morrowind is way better than oblivion.

Leyawiin is objectively the best town
>constant overcast/rain makes it 1000% comfy
>Dat tudor inspired architecture

I'll agree that it's quite comfy but I loved Bruma the most for its winter climate.didn't like skyrim as much just nice to have different climates and cities in a game. Skyrim felt smaller than Morrowind and oblivion.

Did they name it so similar to Brazil because its in a shitty murky jungle and everyone there is a crack head?

>Skingrad and Anvil

Best taste.

Anvil is the GOAT city of Cyrodiil

i dont think it would have been so trash of it wasnt built on muddy water and wasnt a skooma den

I'm gonna fuk u up m8

Cheydinhal and Skingrad are best cities

no point in refuting this, you know deep down i'm right

Agreed. Skyrim's towns sucked. Except maybe Markarth.

game?

Snow nigger towns are never good. Anvil for the ocean breeze and Skingrad for having cozy houses.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 3

can't believe no one has mentioned Chorrol

Literally who?

>Skingrad
>The town full of vampires, a Necrophilliac shop keep, a schizo, a house full of undead creatures and a party that ended with everyone dead

No thanks

Near the city of Chorrol

m8 I am not jokin around here

Also came to post this.

Most expensive crib is in skingrad, Second best house is in anvil. Nice.

The virgin Bravilian

The CHAD Anvilite

I swear on ur fukn life lad this is ur last chance i got reinforcements on the way

What a quaint castle outpost

I genuinely can't tell what race this faggot is suppose to be

Yeah, there's too many races with red eyes.

*blocks your path*

If it has pointy ears and red eyes its a Dunmer

OK M8 I FUKN WARNED THE LOT OF YA

What if he's a vamp high elf?

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

>thinking the walls come after
All of those cities started as fortresses for their respective castle, the urban sprawl came later.

>shit tier

Kvatch
Bruma
Bravil

>meh tier

Imperial City
Cheydinhal

>comfy tier

Anvil
Skingrad
Leyawiin

>god tier

Chorrol

>elder god tier

Chorrol with unique landscapes mod
Brindle Home
fight me fags

I like both of those, but Cheydinhal and Anvil were my favourites

Anvil because I really like ports after visiting Cornwall as a child, theres something really relaxing about the sounds, sights, and smells of a cozy port

Cheydinhal felt like an eternal spring city, where everything was fresh and temperate, not too hot or cold, with nice flowers blooming by the small river that runs through it, with very nicely cobbled streets and comfy architecture

...

Patrician

BRUMA

THAT'S WHERE MEN ARE WOMEN

>nearly 2018
>le ebin bongspeak

Cry about it faggot bitch.

nobody on Sup Forums except you and me remember this, idiot. by the time it got popular and Sup Forums and reddit jumped on board, warband had already been out for years, let alone when mount&blade was still relevant, and let alone still more when mount&blade was in the alpha/beta and had OG Zendar

Kvatch was the best city. Jiub decided to write his life story there and who are you to argue with Jiub

Khorinis

>comfy seaside harbor
>haunted house
>home of the gray fox
>sailor whorehouse and slag bandits
what's not to love

was it that small? I remember Leyawiin to be huge.

It's okay Friendo. All comfy vidya towns are welcome here.

Post some more comfy vidya towns

That soundtrack, the ambience. The church on the hill and the little market dirt Street running up to said church with stalls. Maximum KAMPH

All the cities look small when viewed from above and a distance.

Contributing. Comfiest vidya city coming through!

Didn't it have another half on the other shore or something?

Everyone always compares the towns, but there's much less focus on the castles in each of them. They look amazing on the skyline and have some of the best interiors in Elder Scrolls.
What are their rankings, by each game

Vanilla + LODGen beats Morrowind always. Vanilla + LODGen + Morroblivion is godtier.

Not sure if you've noticed but believable world building is not exactly Bethesda's strong suit (well they don't have one period but that's beside the point). Bethesda just places shit in the world based on if it "looks cool".

>Pell's gate the city
literal ass cancer

All castles in Oblivion were kind of samey though from what I recall, apart from Skingrad

>Bravil
HUEHUE

I haven't played the witcher 3 but I have the first 2.Does the witcher 3 have comfy towns and locations or is it a quantity over quality matter?

Villages are quite comfy and most people seem to love Novigrad, although it honestly felt kind of soulless for me. However the settlements don't feel even nearly as alive as they did in W1, no daily routines, almost everyone is just randomly generated pedestrian... Vizima in W1 was honestly the most living feeling city in vidya I've ever experienced.

It most certainly has.

Why hasn't anyone just replicated the TES formula and just made it a comfy fantasy living simulator. Daily routines, relationships, jobs for taxes and food. Weather changes with seasons.

GIVE ME FANTASY PEASANT SIMULATOR ALREADY

Got ya covered

It's impossible to run Frostfall on Special Edition Skyrim, right? The SKSE is still work in progress for it.

Are there any alternatives for SE that make game more survival-like and generally more challaging when it comes to combat and economy (so that you won't be billionare in minutes)?

Looks like a vamp dunmer to me m8
Altmer don't go for the crazy hair as far as I know

Official Skyrim Survival Modeā„¢ obviously, available through the Creation Club for a modest fee!

Anvil is a best. Just the atmosphere of that place is so comfy. It really feels like a port town.

The villages in Velen are awful and built over shit land. White Orchard is really nice, but anywhere in Skellige is the absolute best. Great location and the people are pretty based for the most part.

...

Ah I see. Let me rephrase that
PLEASE JUST GIVE ME A COMFY MEDIEVEL/FANTASY LIVING SIMULATOR THAT ISNT COMPLETE CRAP AND BACKED BY A SOULESS COOPERATION
Played it awhile back. It's really small, lacks any real features and is basically just a watered down sims.

Hackdirt

I laughef

Morrowind with MGEXE is absolutely gorgeous, colorful and sharp, Oblivion literally cant be made to look less blurry and smeared.

Everything in this game looks like shit. Hard to comprehend that I used to be blown away by the graphics

>grind to level up your sims
>it's always the same
>When you're finished start over from 0
nope.gif
