which games are active on pc? I want to play like all of them but I'm scared they'll be dead game.

I was in a COD mood last week, pretty much everything is pointless to play except BLOPS 2, its got 500-800 people on usually.

The only fun things about call of duty is breaking the singleplayer campaigns and trolling the community, same as modern battlefield.

World at War by far.
It has you playing alongside Gary Oldman for fuck sake. With scenes lifted straight out of movies like enemy at the gates.

they all are. they all are also infested with hackers day one (and even today), and I speak from experience. for MW3 at least, there are dedicated servers ran by the community, with admins that ban hackers pretty quickly. you can have a relatively fun experience on them, as long as you like playing one one or two maps exclusively. I assume the same exists for other cod games.
