Apparently, there might be some slight spoilers in EDGE's review regarding end-game and post-game. It's being discussed in Gamefaqs as we speak.

I'll just post the tidbit from THAT one particular image someone bothered to figure out in spoilers, because gosh darn, I wouldn't like to ruin someone's surprises for a game.

Basically

>Odyssey’s story begins in a predictable fashion, as the princess is again kidnapped by Bowser, this time so the two can be married. It’s a disappointingly conventional setup, though even here there are a few twists. For starters, this is easily the most competent Bowser has ever been. First, he deploys the Broodals, a quartet of rabbit wedding planners, to hold Mario up before thwarting him again during a mid-game encounter. Then he ups the ante still further, resulting in a battle quite unlike anything we’ve seen in a Mario game before. Peach, for her part, is no helpless damsel, either. Her role expands in the postgame, though not in the way you might expect, while a single late-game (section ((user here: I think it's more reaction but it could go either way)) shot?) is likely to go down in history for its potential ramifications for the series’ lore.

If you want to know my opinion, that important bit might be implied to either be the big donk "I do" from Peach or something entirely different that's about to change the Mario lore in ways we might not completely be able to expect.

>EDGE gave it a 10
This is a good sign and all, but the shitposting on Sup Forums, whether the score is an 85 or a 95, is gonna be horrific until it's out.

>another round of Mario lore
oh boy.

Madame Brood is Bowser's ex isn't she? And if not, then will we learn who it is?
It's the only other massive lore thing I can think of

Will Super Mario Odyssey at least be as challenging as 64 or Sunshine, or is Nintendo going to keep dumbing it down so they don't get SJW backlash? Current gameplay vids look pretty easy.

I'm not sure, I can't predict the future, although I am most particularly interested in the way how the author used the word ramifications in here. That word is usually used as a means to describe consequences, either complex or unwelcome, of a action or event. But I might be reading too much into it.

>luigi isn't in the game
IT'S OVER BROS!

>Webm ends just as Mario hits Pauline with Cappy

THE ABSOLUTE MAD MAN

When you think about, why WOULD Luigi be in the game?

why was he playable in the first galaxy?
it was pretty fucking strange finding out you could unlock him even though he was an NPC in that game as well.

ahahahahaha
i see you!!!

What SJWs have to do with a game difficulty?
The mexican outfit I can understand, but the challenging?

Did you even follow the cuphead backlash? These people want their hand held through everything now

>tfw no 1-up girl

>64 and Sunshine
>Challenging
Can't tell if this is bait or you're actually underage, the first Mario game to have a challenging level of any sort was Galaxy 2.

Paid review.

He'd be Mario's best man

This, any review over a 7 is suspicious.

As long as I don't have to play as the cunt..

Fuck his slippery ass, feels like walking on ice permanently.
