I have a fairly wide taste in genres so I liked the nice chunk of good games the system had to offer. I definitely got my money's worth.

Tropical Freeze and W101 warranted the purchases for me. Rayman Legends was pretty good too on the gamepad.

Nope. The system had three of my top 10 favorite games of all time, which is more than any other single system to date.

Yeah, the tablet pissed me off because it was mandatory for so many dumb things that made the pro controller more of an addition than a true substitute. It had some decent games but I found half the miniscule library to be incredibly over rated and the price of Nintendo games as per usual never went down to any significant extent. Unlike the Wii, GameCube and 3ds third party support was practically non existent as well, so you were stuck with a small library of expensive and often mediocre games. Animal Crossing was an amiibo game, Star Fox was a clunky rehash of 64, paper Mario was ass and Zelda was a switch launch title. To add insult to injury the whole system was easy as fuck to emulate so you didn't need to buy the damn thing, especially as major releases like Mario Kart, Zelda and pokemon were ported to switch. I wouldn't say it was awful, but I consider it on par with the xbone. It's made me incredibly cautious about the switch as a result, but I'm hoping that one day in hindsight I'll have fun rounding out my library and finding some more good games a result.

No. Homebrew is pretty cool and The Wonderful 101 is one of my favorite games.

My friend bought both, and never even completed either of them. Two games do not warrant the purchase of the Wii U in my opinion.

No, the only thing that disappointed me was no real Animal Crossing just Amiibo shit. It's not so bad though since I know NIntendo would never actually improve AC and just likes to add stupid shit that nobody asked for.

It was also annoying that BOTW was delayed for the Switch but it is a great game so I guess it turned out okay.
