That game looks fun. Name?

...

>Installed it back a few months ago
>campaign is unforgiving as fuch unless you knew the tricks
>literally have to play some mission like a spec op commando

playing as the salad-aliens was a fucking pain

War Wind. There are two of them, this is the first one.

Universal monsters: Monsterville.

One of the best customization possibilities in vydia and the best OST out there and people here ignore this game

Shit I remember trying to play this as a kid but being to stupid to grasp anything. Now as far as I remember it was something like Battlefield with Mechs.

Also, continuing with pic related

One of the first computer games I ever played. Never could beat it.

The second one was awesome too. Humans make an appearance as well. Although I have to say that this game did a lot of "revolutionary" stuff that W3 did years and years before. Just nobody noticed.

solar winds shareware on 3.5" floppy

>MMO
>MMO with six trillion HUD elements

I will continue to ignore it

I know I'm not the only one. Still a really hidden gem tho.

...

Still play to this day. Bought the second one on steam (the HD version), well still great games with more depth than most of the modern "rts games".

...

the games are fun but the deal was how difficult it was to get into because it just throw you into the wild and give you harsh missions at start,
while game like warcraft that came around the same period just made it easy to people by giving easy objectives then later raise its difficulty when you get the hang of it

...

playing in EU servers currently. Gameforge has fucked this game. Fewer and fewer people every day.

...

>tfw never finished this

...

Please tell me I wasn't the only one

...

Apparently not, based on that picture.

...

uhm, sweetie, I'm playing it right now..

Comfiest of the comfy

I just searched the Sup Forums archives to see if anyone talks about this here and there was unironically a thread about specifically it just 3 hours ago, with the same picture at that.

i played that
it came out just in the nick of time when settlers turned to shit

rotox for pc

Jokes on you, I've played this.

You're not alone anone. First PC came with shareware floppies of Solarwinds, Zone 66 and Jill of the Jungle pinball

mi negro

If there are modern games like this, I sure would like to know about them.

Ubi-settlers need not apply.

Interstellar racism. I bet he wouldn't be ugly if he was white.

I've played warwind faggot.

Pic related. No one can guess this game.

Fucking Stratosphere!
I constantly played the demo of this and was gutted at never finding it anywhere to buy. How was it?

Many people may remember this trailer from the JSRF/Sega GT disc, but from what I've seen across the net, very few have actually bought/played the game.

you are all sooooo very young

...

Original war?

Friendly reminder that I never met an user who knew this game. Feels bad man.

It's such a pain to get it running on modern systems.

...

Full version didn't add much in terms of depth, rather was more of everything. i was having a total blast at the time, but today i can hardly imagine playing it again today.

We had a thread about it a few days ago.

well I'm old. so what

One of my all time favorite

...

Holy shit, I remember this one. It was one of the most brutal games I owned on Amiga. Never managed to go past Los Angeles though. Shit was too hard for me at the time. I also knew a cheat code to advance to next level.

I know, I just really want somebody to host a server.

The only way to play this game is by Clicking on every tree on the first level

How bout this?

Was amazing to play in a huge guild with huge guild wars. But the cheating ruined it eventually. It got to the point where you either loaded up hax (often some paid a lot for them) or avoided PVP like the plague (The main aspect of the game).

Fucking got PTSD from that shit.

>posts Settlers 3
Fuck off, the second you could manually control your soldiers, Settlers started dying a slow death

Sequel never ever ;__;

This game sucked.

>Resourcez
No thanks.

Braves on fire screaming their heads off never got old. Trying to remember the spells but all I remember is Kaka (fireball) and Shoka (Lightning? Swarm?)

I sucked at Strategy games so never got far enough to see things like Angel of Death.

Magic Carpet 2 though had me covered for wanton magic destruction

i found it fun but ultimately a drag to move all those vehicles, especially the faction with bipedal mechs

...

Yeah it was hard as fuck. I had a cracked copy back then with one of those cheat menues, came in pretty handy. But my favorite level was always the first one.

>It was one of the most brutal games I owned on Amiga.
I loved it back then. Moonstone was great, too. I even had my fun killing Lemmings in all sorts of ways.

FOOTSTEPS
F O O T S T E P S

SHOKA! That was lightning indeed. I have many of the shouts in my head, but don't remember which spells they were for. The volcano and Angel of Death was the most intense, obviously! And firestorm. PvP online was too intense for me, I preferred the more comfy single player campaign

this looks like the "warlords: battlecry" series.

He's a fucking tool and I hate hearing the man talk about anything, but evidently he's really supportive of people trying to break into the music industry and spends most of his time supporting them.

He's a heart-of-gold brah.

Did anyone actually win the million dollars?

Based tommy, he was Sup Forums before it existed

Nah. I think you have to be German to know this one. It never was translated I guess. Works more like Total War than anything else, but only battles no strategic map. Its called Demonworld.

Nigga this is games only you played. Aion was talked about a shit ton when it first came out.

I was thinking about picking it on GOG, is it as hard as people say?

youtube.com/watch?v=1y9cZQ7kDjY

wait. is this based on that tabletop that had those those strange crystal/ice demons?

...

I mean these.

Please tell me I wasn't alone for this masterpiece. :(

Not really, it just play very differently from other RTS' and some people might have trouble getting used to unit movement mechanic, that's all. Go play it, it's fucking top tier.

Come back to us SEGA...

my nigga

...

...

great game

tru dat

Dude what the f*ck that's Mario are you dumb?

Yes, exactly.

...

>all I remember is Kaka (fireball)
Taka, not kaka.
Tuskazi is raise land.

The combat aged horribly but I play it from time to time out of nostalgia
Always liked the music though

Anybody remembers this glorious rts?

...

...

...

...

I bought that, but it crashed a few minutes after launch every time so I never got to really play it.

...

Still trying to replay it from time to time.
