Cyberdimension is probably the first decent game Tamsoft ever made. But CH also made good games, a really good mention is VII, and it didn't have that many DLC when compared to other Tamsoft games.

The whole game is fanservice for fans. Think Attack on Titan and Attack on Titan 2. The games themselves aren't lewd, unless you are into naked fat guys, but they are a huge deal to fans of the anime/manga.

Tamsoft is just a contract developer, think something like TOSE, all of these are published by different publishers (even in their native Japan). None of these are their own IPs, in fact the Senran guy doesn't even work for them.

"Early" 2018 could mean June 2018, not necessarily Q1 2018 or evel Jan 2018. They gotta sell out those console LEs to make the bulk of their profit, that's where weebshit makes all their money from.

I just wanted the LE goods. I'm a sucker for that shit. If PC had a physical edition I would've waited for that.

The games sells a lot first week (ReBirth1 sold 80k+ and all the others did around 30k, so enough to cost the porting alone on the first week), so even if a lot of them wait for a sale, a lot of people get it day 1.

Neptunia VII (whatever the proper name is) hasn't broken 50K units sold. I'm sure it sold a hell of a lot more on PS4 in the west alone. Double dipping is a meme that has no viable financial benefit versus releasing the game at the same time as consoles. The only thing the devs profit from are LEs that have all sorts of cheaply made tat to mark the price up significantly, but a simultaneous PC release would chew away the LE's sales and possibly leave many of them unsold.

Neptunia VII broke 90k on PC already and with only 4 sales. What are you saying? It also sold around 30k first week at almost full price, and most fans got with all the DLCs too.

What are you talking about, IFI already profited more than 10M dollars from Neptunia on PC alone on the last 2 and a half years. All Nep games cost really cheap to port, and all of the together so far sold around 1.1M on Steam. Considering $12 for each copy, they profited around 10M (13M - 3M from porting). So not even close to going bankrupt.
