xD
XD
F
no it hasn't. sage for fake news.
it's fucked
Humble Bundle hasn't been good for ages now, can't remember the last time I actually bought a bundle. The only thing this'll result in is even shittier bundles at worse prices, which just means I will continue not buying them.
look it up
it's actually true
Try harder with your bait next time. This isn't even slightly believable.
Took a few seconds to read and it says "Humble Bundle will continue to operate as an independent entity. It won’t have any major staffing changes in the wake of the purchase." So I don't know what ya should be up in arms about. But knowing Sup Forums they will just be looking to bitch and moan about it.
N-NANI?!!
WHY?
I couldnt even care less.
Last few bundles years were straight shit
Lmao. """Humble""" my ass.
Will this change anything?
Make sure to avoid giving any money to them in the customization options (called Humble Tip).
Who am I kidding they are going to get rid of that.
According to the article, no
In reality, probably
Officially they said no
Who knows though
oh the ironing
They just had a Bundle with DMC4SE DR1 and RE4, that was pretty good
...
Well their logo is a vasectomy diagram
Not one of the guys you're responding to but you're the retard here. Start with a reliable source rather than some random fucking article. Like this.
I find it kinda funny,i find it kinda sad
Now their current Monthly Bundle makes sense now since it's basically just an ad
>was about to buy a year's subscription last month
>This awful month
>Now this
Did anything change when your favorite developers got purchased by EA?
R.I.P. humble bundle 2010-2017. Thanks for the coal I guess.
I guess I should finally get my shit together and activate all those damned keys.
>Gamasutra isn't a reliable source
???
If you thought the recent bundles were shit you're in for the surprise of a lifetime.
Keep in mind you now have a "reviewer" directly selling keys, this will definitely not be exploited :^)
They acquired a way to avoid taxes and use humble bundle as a giant advertisement for publishers, the rest doesn't matter, who even buys games from the humble bundle store anyway when there are key sites? they also sell steam keys so, doesn't matter one bit.
Or when your favorite new technology got purchased by a soulless social media giant!?
Things are getting worse each year.
When will this ride end?
This has never ever happened any time it's been said.
Well, time to unsub I guess
its real fuck
This is what happens when you don't buy our loot boxes. I hope you've learned a valuable lesson today.
>literal jews replaced by jews
No, you will still get fucked
fuck no
they always say that dummy.
just wait. in a few short months we'll see changes.
but honestly who cares. there hasn't been a decent bundle in years. they're a store now.
Press F to pay respects
>OMG NOOOOO IGN ACQUIRED HUMBLE BUNDLE
>oh wait it doesn't change anything
stop overreacting retards
Humble bundle has been shit ever since they started locking games behind payment tiers.
How will this affect the humble bundles?
So what's wrong with IGN exactly?
Just like it didn't change anything when Facebook bought Oculus, right? Or when EA bought Bioware?
69.99 for the army of two bundle goy.
It's now the Ignorant Bundle
...
it changed one thing, I wont go to humble bundle no more.
>Just like it didn't change anything when Facebook bought Oculus, right?
What did it change?
Haha, that company is fucking dead. Rest in rip.
Ignorant bundle
Oy
>oh wait it doesn't change anything
Ah yes, I'm glad future man is here from the future to tell us all the future facts that he definitely knows.
DSP suits you.
t. mouthbreather
...
They can't be that retarded, my guess is that they learned from past mistakes and only want to enter the game re-seller business like bundlestars, gamesplanet. They might even turn it into the next g2a. ;^))
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""humble""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
bundle
Expect articles coming out praising certain already released games on IGN, right as bundles come out containing those games.
Literally who cares? Anyone who is into gaming and not living in a third-world shithole can't say they've found a good deal in a bundle for like 3 years
Imbecile!
I think IGN produces good video content with fun personality. People judge everything by a publication's reviews.
everyone looks so exited
There hasn't been a single good bundle in years, so I don't know why this matters
>A game reviewer magazine acquires a video game store
ummm
A LOTTA LOYALTY FOR A HIRED SHILL
>Review site
>Judged on reviews
games journalism has hit a new low.
inb4 games that refuse to release on Humble get shit ratings.
>the state of PC gaming
>getting assfucked by my Sony/Microsoft monopoly is better than getting a choice of ass fucking from hundreds of different sites
some incredible shitty game gets 10 from ign so they can sell it for their own gains
>TOO MUCH WATER/10
WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING?
I know, I know I've let you down
I've been a fool to myself
I thought I could live for no one else
But now through all the hurt and pain
It's time for me to respect
The ones you love mean more than anything
So with sadness in my heart
Feel the best thing I could do
Is end it all and leave forever
What's done is done, it feels so bad
What once was happy now is sad
I'll never love again
My world is ending
I wish that I could turn back time
'Cause now the guilt is all mine
Can't live without the trust from those you love.
I know we can't forget the past
You can't forget love and pride
Because of that, it's killing me inside
It all returns to nothing, it all comes
Tumbling down, tumbling down
Tumbling down
It all returns to nothing, I just keep
Letting me down, letting me down
Letting me down
In my heart of hearts
I know that I could never love again
I've lost everything
Everything
Everything that matters to me
Matters in this world
I wish that I could turn back time
'Cause now the guilt is all mine
Can't live without the trust from those you love
I know we can't forget the past
You can't forget love and pride
Because of that, it's killing me inside
It all returns to nothing, it just keeps
Tumbling down, tumbling down
Tumbling down
It all returns to nothing, I just keep
Letting me down, letting me down
Letting me down
It all returns to nothing, it just keeps
Tumbling down, tumbling down
Tumbling down
It all returns to nothing, I just keep
Letting me down, letting me down
Letting me down
...
That explains their steak of good bundles around Christmas.
They wanted lots of year long subs to boost their valuation for sale, and now IGN can cut costs with cheaper bundles.
You know, I can't actually think of what they could possibly do to ruin Humble more than it's already been ruined, and that actually scares me. I cannot imagine what they could do to make it worse.
But they will find a way. Somehow.
REALLY? Can you REALLY not think of ANY possible way that the humble bundle could be worse?
for now ? no. in the long run yes. I can't imagine they make that much from the bundles. They will probably focus on the monthly sub and publishing games as time goes on.
Lootboxes? Get Codes for possibly any game, including DLCs you don't have. :^)
>You know, I can't actually think of what they could possibly do to ruin Humble more
Never dare to doubt how low the bar can go, the universe is always listening and eager to show you.
Only one tier that is where the old top tier used to be. You have to hit that tier to get ANY games.
...
rock bottom is a myth, always remember
That's Humble Monthly.
Well that does it, I'm going to continue to set the humble tip to zero.
It's over boys, pack it up
Duplicate codes? No problem! Trade them for 1/10th a box's cost!
Rip
I actually can't outside of some garbage like where they finally do away with the $1 tier.
Humble Bundle died years ago when venture capitalists saw how much money they were making and decided to step in. The original round of bundles were extremely good and featured nothing but high quality games, which you could "buy" for basically nothing(the bare minimum donation was a single cent, which actually ended up costing them money for supplying you with Steam codes and bandwidth for on-site downloads). They built up a reputation of providing high quality, well-curated titles so every time a new bundle popped up you knew each title was a unique, charming and possibly overlooked gem.
These days there's a bundle every other week and just about any bottom of the barrel trash can make it into them. Pic related, this is a bundle from a couple weeks ago. Save for one or two games actually worth playing, it's just shovelware garbage.
Does this mean that IGN now has the rights to A Hat in Time?
Well now you can pay 5$ to get as many lootboxes you want. (Each)
Thats marketing 101, start by offering good deals, then lower your standards once you have a loyal consumer base.
They did all along. That's the only reason "humble" was publishing it in the first place
Does humble bundle still let you decide how much money goes to each party invovled? Thats going to be taken the fuck away and we all know it.
