Unfortunately, no. Its default in Sven coop as far as I know.
But there are mods/admins who regularly visit the server and bannhammer them blockers.

I agree. But my point is that if you up the respawn time to 10 or even eight seconds it encourages more co-op play because death has more of a consequence and it encourages other players to revive each other.
