Is there any reason to keep a retro game collection anymore? All my old games fill my closet and I would rather play them on my PSP anyway.
Do I save them, anticipating a higher value later or sell now? Why?

if they bring you no joy then sell them now, holding onto them longer is just a speculation on if they will go up or down in value.
at the very least the market is good within recent years for sellers so there is plenty of room to deflate should it ever do so.
personally i just keep my stuff regardless since i find myself going back to it eventually.
Keep your cases in a box in the basement and get yourself a bunch of these amazon.com
It'll change your life.
never fails, when i find games in those things it looks like somebody took a belt sander to them.
You havent lived life until you played old games in the basement on a 4:3 CRT monitor
Try it out, shits cash
If they're retro all the ones that are worth anything are most likely have already hit the peak value they'll ever be at in your lifetime.
Most likely you already missed th
i've done that, fun stuff.
>You havent lived life until you tried to crawl your way back to childhood instead of moving on and having new experiences
that's one outlook I suppose
>tfw my game collection is sitting in my closet at my moms house
>entire collection is probably worth $1000 but if I died or some shit my parents would probably sell it for pennies at a yard sale
I sold some of my old Pokemon games a year ago. Kinda regret it now even though on the rare occasions I'd play them I'd just play them on an emulator. And I can just download them on my 3DS.
Playing old games on a basement 4:3 CRT would be a new experience, what are you on?
>Implying most of Sup Forums is over the age of 15
Label the price with a sticky note.
only $1000?
>PS2
>retro
I want kids to leave this plane of existence.
gee Bill!
what? 1v1 in steel battalion is a fun unique experience, to think it supports up to 10 players like this.
Just a photo CRAPFACE
If you find any way to make that happen please share. Shooting at schools is just not working out... too many survive. There have to be a better/faster way.
OP if you don’t enjoy them anymore then why keep it.
I “adopted” (or whatever you want to call it) Minimalism awhile back.
I ended up getting rid of almost all of my collection. I only have the most important games left (I’m down to less then 20 total physical games)
It made me feel better because
>less looking at them and thinking I should play them or get rid of them which led to less stress
>extra income to save towards new experiences
>somebody else who hopefully will play them gets to enjoy them
I say get rid of them. You can always emulate them if the occasion comes up (if you are anything like me where I rarely replay games unless they are my absolute favorites and when I do it’s usually not a full play through)
>Steel battalion set up.
GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEE
thats cool, I wasn't being serious. do you have a friend to play with regularly?
I always have a computer set up for lan with AoE, Unreal Tournament, and a few more but it doesn't see much use
not regularly though when i do have somebody to play with it's an almost all day thing.
my wife typically will play games with me down in the basement but usually bomberman and bust-a-move on the PVM.
Youtube room decor, to show everyone online you're nerdy
That's a nice basement senpai
Does her son play Steel Battalion with you too?
if you buy anything that is easily emulatable then you are a good goy and belong on reddit
>manchild can't read
you can't make this shit up
I got into a replaying craze a bit ago.
Who would have thought? That you can replay old games after a few years and re-experience them in a totally new way.
>Playing old games on a basement 4:3 CRT would be a new experience
Maybe if you're under 18
>buying and keeping kusoge
lol, someone under 18 would be playing Minecraft in their dad's tablet.
What user described is a manchild and/or nostalgiafag activity.
I still have my old game n watches, really not sure what to do with them...
