The game was in this science fantasy setting. I played a heroic, knightly human guy that was pretty much the party's tank. My best friend who's a girl was playing our other frontliner. Her character was an android/cyborg that happened to also be a catgirl to crank the waifu factor up a bit.

She was amnesiac after her creation, and one of my character's traits was that he was a few years older than the rest of the party and thus wiser and more experienced. So, my character basically served as a mentor figure to teach her about the world and morality and such.

After a lot of very chaste and cute buildup it eventually turned into a passionate romance based upon mutual adoration and attraction, since they were both incredibly physically fit warriors. My character was actually a virgin beforehand, so it was also a bit of a flip because the android girl was the more sexually forward of the two at first.

TL;DR: My best friend played a top-tier android waifu that turned me towards android fetishism as well as fetishism of couples involving two strong people
