I love building brown bricks in Minecrap.

Install many, many many mods, specially thaumcraft and applied energistics.
Also if you gonna do Mekanism, DO NOT MAKE THE DIGITAL MINER.
It's a machine created with the sole purpose of sucking all the fun out of minecraft.

The first playthrough perhaps, but every subsequent playthrough grinding out the same shitty recipe puzzles over and fucking over again is trash.

It's the closest thing to actual magic I've seen on Minecraft, shit lets you make your own spells Oblivion-style, provided you're not too retarded to make it. Whereas Thaumcraft lets you choose between about five different lasers.

You set up the mineral you want, you feed the thing enough power (and it's not even that much), and it just teleports every single one of em on the closer chunks into the machine's inventory.
