Steam Library Library Thread

How you Categorize? I use pic related+Favorites

i put them in categories based on their genre. also i will put them in a category if their is just a shit ton of games from the same company.

Mine is categorized by series. (No, alphabetical order does not do that for me. Not every sequel is called [previous game title] [incremented number].)

Then I categorize by
>100% complete
>finished
>played
>unplayed
and I put those category names in brackets so they go to the bottom.

I want to categorize by genre as well, but it ends up being a pain in the fucking ass.

...

objectively best way to categorize games

Is this LaunchBox?

I tried to use it, but too many good features are locked behind a paywall, and there's no consistency in the quality and dimensions of box art.

i dig this. i've also seen some mad men who categorize their games based on the humble bundles they bought.

that sounds utterly useless

i need the council of wizards to confirm this

favorites for games i play often or want to get of the backlog faster. non favorites for games i installed hoping to get out of back log later. and set it to not show non installed games.

multi(r6, pubg, shit you play with friends.. i have some friends for some reason)
dark souls-like(doesn't include fucking cuphead)
single(rpg, telltalelike, anything with a story-campaign)
strategy
wtf(things i like to categorize but don't as i am lazy, like recettear or fighting games)

the shit i got from humble etc or 1 dollar games aren't in categories.

I just have mine as "Installed" and "100% Complete" "Finished" for games without achievements.

...

Also, when I imported my Steam library, it completely derped on the auto-recognition of some of the more obscure games, and gave them bogus titles.

>categorizing everything
what are you, autistic?

>Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun
>Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun

??

Original disk copy and first decade copy.

Having only 60-80 games

>steam

Fucking brainlets

>Max Payne 1
>Max Payne 2
>No Max Payne 3
my nigga

Ah, okay. So those are non-Steam games imported into Steam?

I bought The First Decade many years ago. This was my first experience with Command & Conquer. Unfortunately, I sucked so much at the first couple of games that I never progressed to the later sequels. So the games in The First Decade are still the only Command & Conquer games I own, aside from a free copy of Red Alert 3 or whatever, which I haven't played.

I just cannot get good at real-time strategy.

>60-80
not quite.
but, just for you, I made a special image.
