Snatcher.
Hard Reset was so fucking good.
dreamweb, dude sexes, system shocks, paradise cracked/power of law if you're into turn based combat
Eh, it's alright. I really like the emphasis on environmental kills, but it has a few issues. Is the Redux version noticeably better than the original?
cyberpunk 2077
Anachronox
Brigador, Neon Chrome, Cataclysm: DDA, SS13.
I dunno I only played the original.
I think the game is fucking fantastic though, I know some people think it was bullet spongry, but I think Hard Reset, like Dark Messiah, is one of those few games where you should just put the fucking difficulty down because all the max difficulty does is make everything and unfun bullet sponge.
I wont defend the garbage difficulty system, but playing it on normal or low is fucking fun.
Redux version adds sword combat similar to Shadow Warrior and some new enemies that have been described as being totally bullshit.
Shadowrun (Super Nintendo)
Shadowrun (Genesis)
Shadowrun Returns
Shadowrun: Dragonfall
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
...
I'm doing my long-put-off Insanity playthrough right this instant. Just cleared the second boss. The speed that you can get whacked at is surprisingly funny, but goddamn this mode is miserable as hell and the enemies are ridiculously bullet-sponging. At least once I finish I'll have the stupid achievements I was missing.
PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY
redux is way easier because of infinite dodge
by cyberpunk do you just mean like Shadowrun and stuff? Or do you want specific things from it?
If you like Hard Reset you would probably also like E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy or Deathwing.
If you want the whole 'things to think about' experience, play Xenoblade Chronicles X, if you end up enjoying it, you won't stop playing.... ever...
Hard Reset is overrated garbage.
seeStop playing this game on anything higher than normal you idiots.
It's like you care about some bullshit achievment over actually having a fun experience playing the game.
I actually wish the devs would patch out the hard difficulty so no new players would stupidly try to look hardcore, put the difficulty up and have a bad time with bullet sponges on an otherwise fantastic game.
So many people have expressed hatred of this game before, and every time I ask them why it's "fucking bullet sponges", something that is a complete non issue on lower difficulties. You did it to yourself.
I'm playing on Hard for my second run through and I'm having a pretty good time so far, I just wish I got XP faster
good taste my friend.
I would bust a nut if we could get enough people together for a couple rounds of dystopia, though
Oh, you misunderstand. I may be bitching, but I'm also enjoying it. I'll never touch this difficulty again with a 10-foot pole, but the sheer stupidity of it is amusing to me even as I drag myself through it. To a degree it's more time consuming than anything else once you get into the flow of things. Giant packs of small assholes are manageable, but take a while to kill. You get the grenade launcher and mortar set as your weapons, wait for the bum rush, secondary whichever you're currently equipped with to hold the bastards in place followed by the primary fire, swap to the other weapon, secondary again to keep them locked down followed by primary, swap and repeat. Wear down the trash swarms like this, then you can play grab-ass with the bigger enemies using cover and the railgun or smartgun.
The surge
What was the name of the game, where you play as an AI that gained self-awareness and your goal is to covertly take over the world or something?
are people still playing this ill redownload if they are
NEVER EVER AGAIN
Are there any cyberpunk games that have that dark gritty feel to them like Blade Runner, or have that aesthetic like BLAME!?
I bought Deus Ex HD and MKD the other day, but haven't started them yet.
I want a real good cyberpunk game, but i would like the world to just seem dark and rainy and gritty with some Vangelis kind of ost.
reeeee this and dystopia why dont we have a source mods general to get a community back for these games man
Mankind Divided was very enjoyable, especially the setting.
That's reassuring
I haven't watched any videos, but the few screen shots I've seen, it just looks like that tan and yellow filter a lot of futurey games were having
Nah no ORANGED' like Human Revolution. Just try your best to experience it for yourself.
I said HD, guess I meant HR.
I was told by friend to play HR first because MKD picks up right after, so I'll play through that first
>ctrl + f + satelite reign
>zero results
For shame, guys.
Mods are dead. They used to be a practicing future game developer's testing grounds, a way to create an idea for a game that doesn't quite hold it's own as a full game. Now those developers just skip strait to unity and release their half ideas as "early access" games while modding is now only a place where people take models from other games and put them into a game they don't belong in.
good idea
i get that but surely there has to be enough of us autists to play some rounds of something that we all long for
I didn't like it.
How do you play this game
Install it ect
There's not a general, but there is a friday night NT group on steam.

Thank me later sluts.
Fucking such a good game and soundtrack.
This game was pretty cool, but I never got why they wanted it to be just counter-strike with like 1 or 2 extra powers.
still the best ghost in the shell game in existence
Why was old-school Kojima so good at making intros?

>ywn play non-retconned to death metal gear
Ruiner
One third of Shadow Warrior 2 to the point where one has to wonder if those areas weren't made out of unused assets from a cancelled Hard Reset 2.
While a great game, it's not cyberpunk in its entirety user. Plus the cliffhanger at the end will blue ball you, since there is no sequel.
