All I remember is CoD4, WaW and MW2 all taking my friends away from playing Halo. I remember getting every achievement in MW2 and then selling it back to GameStop. I remember trying to like anything about the CoD multiplayer and realizing it was fucking awful, but the zombies mode was fun as fuck with friends. Those days were the beginning of the end.

TDM is my favourite mode, I'm guessing everyone's too good for anyone to get good killstreaks

Nah, lobbies are somehow filled with babies, killstreaks are pretty common

I remember I'd play headquarters with my cousin all the time and I'd have a loadout with 'cold-blooded', 'ninja', a riot shield, c4 and smoke grenades. It'd make it so you don't appear on bascially any radar or killstreak and people won't get a red crosshair while aiming over you. There was also a bug if you switched between 2 weapons super fast, your character model would freeze completely.

So I'd throw a smoke on the headquarters, run in and cap it, and then lay on the floor with the riot shield on my back, and switch between a piston and a grenade constantly. The enemy would kill my team and swarm the point but they could never cap it because I was on it but they assumed I was dead. Then when the whole team was bunched up I'd throw a c4 in the room and kill their team.

Fuck that was fun.

Halo reach was incredibly good. I think it's definitely one of the best halo games for sure. I enjoyed gears 2 and 3 as well as halo reach and cod4/mw2. I actually liked call of duty from 1 on the pc, to mw2 on pc/console. Black ops 1 was alright but not amazing. After mw2 is where it really goes to shit because Activision fucked infinity ward up permanently. I quite like titan fall too but I haven't even played the 2nd one and I'm not really into online shooters as much as I used to be.

mw2 was the last game that I went to a midnight release to, and I remember beating the campaign the same night. Best multiplayer, even if there was a lot of rage inducing perks, weapons etc. I remember everyone saying Black Ops having better multiplayer the next year but it felt like only a few weapons were actually viable in BO. With mw2 you could really experiment with different classes and still be able to get a decent amount of kills per round

The way Activision treated cod was retarded. If it were up to me it would have been;
