I bought Xmas Shooting Scramble just for Aru Scramble in 100% OJ, but the game looks fun, I just had to rebind the controls.
Have you guys played it?

It and QPSDangerous are entertaining to play.
QPS and XMS are fun too if you can get them, but I was a little disappointed that Scramble was merely a port of XMS but with a few changes here and there instead of its own standalone thing like Dangerous was.

What do you mean It's not an standalone game? And what so you mean it's merely a port? Is it not a pc game?

I think he means that Scramble was basically a remaster of the original Xmas Shooting with a few plot points changed, but the general flow remaining the same, while QP Shooting Dangerous was radically different from QP Shooting 1

FRB is OJ's best shoot-em up in my opinion.

If you compare XMS to Scramble, almost all of the story beats and stage layouts are the same.
Difficulty of stage 1 was pared down but an extra boss was added. Natsumi got a new attack phase and Mei got a new phase that's identical to her second phase from QPS. Dialog is different due to the inclusion of Rein as a guide rather than Aru being solo.
Train boss of stage 2 was removed and difficulty pared down. New swan(?) enemies and the train has a slightly different attack pattern. Kiriko's design changed entirely and her dialog isn't even close to the same.
Stage 3 is more or less the same, except for the addition of the UFO Crane game boss, Flying Castle boss, and Nico replacing Arthur (they have the same motives for stealing presents almost line-for-line).
Other plot changes are that Aru is Santa now rather than being Santa's helper. And the addition of Rein as a companion
