The GC controller basically causes hand cancer but the playerbase is filled with manchildren who cant accept change.

the little inconsistent shit that have minor effects on the game but the players have no control over. like phantom hits, invisible ceilings, luigi's misfire, peach's stitch face turnip, etc. the randomness can make for some exciting moments sure, but its horrible for actual competition.

Falco's recovery

Phantom hits arent random, they occur when a hitbox and a hurtbox are tangent but not actually overlapping. The rest of your post is true though, even if I dont think a bit of known randomness isn't that bad. People play competitive poker after all.

Some of the hitboxes are bullshit though. Puff's backair has way more reach than the model itself ever does. I honestly wonder how high up the tier list some of the low tiers would be if they had decent hitboxes. Characters like Roy and DK would really benefit from hitboxes that cover the whole distance their model does when attacking.

Or adults who have anything more than average sized hands.

M2k and Mango both have mild hand problems. I'm willing to bet most players have experienced some sort of pain.

What techniques cant be done with some controllers? I know shield drops cant be done as efficiently on certain controllers but I thought that was it.

Meteor canceling is stupid.

Frist of all, its a glitch and shouldn't be in the game to begin with. That's why they fixed it in brawl(which is a far superior game imo).
Secondly it gives Luigi an unfair advantage, since his wave dash i longer..

Falco would legit be even more stupid with a longer recovery. plus he doesnt have the worst recovery in the game.

What? Just because a character has a longer wavedash doesn't mean they're better. Mewtwo has one of the longest wavedashes and the game but he's also one of the worst characters.

Also Sakurai knew about wavedashing in development but didn't remove it.

This I agree with.

All the downward hits should be meteors or spikes, having some be true spikes and others not is one of the most unbalanced parts of this already unbalanced game.

It's not engaging to watch nor play, between Hungrybox and PPMD (RIP)'s neutral game, I'd take PP's any day of the year.

I can't decide between playing the best character or the second best character

nobody is willing to put the time into lower tier characters with potential (like Luigi)

Too few legal stages in tournament setting.
Can't use the C-stick for inputs in class/adventure/allstar mode.
Stamina has a fixed health percentage despite promotional screenshots showing HP above 150%.
Half of G&W's aerials cannot be L-Canceled.
The level 8 handicap setting is broken and actually makes you take significantly less knockback than someone with level 9 handicap.

But almost all of those were intentionally designed into the game. Stuff like wavedashing, wavelanding, teching, DI, etc were all known. You can see dev interviews acknowledging it.

I do know wobbling, Kirby's shitty grabs, Ness' yo-yo hitbox and super wavedash are actual exploits.
