Can we talk about this Sup Forums?
Literally god-tier survival horror with good combat
Can we talk about this Sup Forums?
here's some chie feet Sup Forums
please discuss condemned though
What went wrong?
Not directed by the same guy.
why
>wanting good combat in your survival horror
the game goes for a macabre and brutal atmosphere, so it fits
i got this game for free from somewhere
should I play it?
Do you like bum fights? If yes, then you should probably play it.
no pc .
>tfw the second one improved the combat but the story/horror falls off toward the end
>tfw probably won't get a third one
I dunno about the 2nd, the whole quick time event finishing thing rubbed me up the wrong way.
In the second one you get to fight a bear
I hate QTE's but you can just kick them while they're on the ground
but its still pretty awkward seeing the enemies kneeling in front of you waiting for you to grab them and slam them into a toilet or tv
What parts scared you the most Sup Forums?
>That fucking part where you get trapped in the Library.
Its the only one I played. It had really intense combat and atmosphere, but the story and enemies were really fucking weird. The story couldnt decide on being a crime mystery or a balls to the walls horror game
>emphasis on guns instead of melee
>QTEs are a core part of combat instead of just being finishers
>story takes a massive dump
>fucking screaming powers
the detective stuff was cool though
for real?
>The locker room investigation
>locker meme
I bought my 360 on lauch day and the only title I got was this game. I worked third shift and first shift part time so the only time I ever could play it was late at night before work. When the locker scene came on I was by myself playing in the dark and I remember yelling as soon as he grabbed the camera and I jumped up. The last level where you had to walk with a torch and kill fat bastards carrying shotguns was painful.
10/10?
>Posting pickle rick-head image
Last level sucked ass, I was playing on hard and almost got an aneurysma. Should have ended it at the bossfight
Not a 10/10 game. The ending fight with the two stick jackass was annoying and there was a quicktime event at the end where you decide to shoot the antagonist or not and it doesn't make a difference if you chose not to because he shoots himself anyhow. I liked it overall. I just have fond memories of it because I was in my first apartment at 18 and the 360 was my first big purchase I had done by myself (my parents helped me buy my first car).
What's an aneurysma and why did you almost get one?
>tfw i thought the RE7 reveal trailer was for Condemned 3 when it was first being played at E3
was it?
maybe
Why did they turn him into an emo white guy?
what ethnicity is he here
I liked it.
>first game was on PS3, 360, and PC
>second game was only on the PS3 and 360, skipping PC entirely because the platform was "unprofitable"
>sega then unironically buys PC-focused developers like Creative Assembly and has them make PC games
>they also port ancient ass games to PC many, many years after consoles had them while they make all their other games for consoles
>"PC is our most profitable platform!"
>releases games on everything but PC
>"it would be incredible to bring Yakuza to PC!"
>announces three new Yakuza games, neither of which are coming to PC
>"we are listening to the demand for our games!"
>sends a C&D to the RCP3 devs for something something Persona 5 shouldn't be on PC ever
Literally.
What is Sega's fucking problem?
I always forget yakuza is sega
970
>emo
he was always white and you have no idea wtf 'emo' means.
nigga how can you forget, whenever you take a screenshot there will always be this ugly black box taking up the lower corner of the screen saying SEGA
also what the fuck is that box's deal, were they somehow unable to into transparency?
*blocks your path*
but he was chinese
>ethan thomas
>chinese
God tier
It has been a while since I've played either game but I didn't enjoy they second one as much. I'm not really sure why. Probably too much of the light/dark world shit
stoklasan
The first one is actually not on ps3 for some reason
Best level
he was native american, right?
they fucked him way up in the sequel, looked like a generic ass punk biker mofo.
at most id say he's native indian
>One of the best first person horror games of all time, and the enemies are just coked up hobos.
How did they do it?
...
>dark messiah
>condemned
we need WAY more kicking games.
the first game was not on ps3
This game is fucking incredible. Never played the second one, but this game is still with me. It's just so fucking good. Everything about it.
First condemned was not on ps3
it's good to see some love for this game, it's literally FPS horror done right and resi 7 sadly focuses too much on fighting black goo monsters with guns
Nani the fuck? I could've sworn it was.
nope, the 2nd was though
but then the 2nd isn't on pc, fuck you sega
Holy shit I thought I was the only one.
I was so excited and sure it was then it turned out to be RE7.
I liked RE7 but still a bit salty.
I must be having the Mandela effect. I could have sworn I seen a PS3 copy at fucking gamestop years ago.
I was actually surprised to see this thread, and that others appreciate at least the first game. So many people dick ride all these new "horror" games that aren't intense or scary at all. This game was unbelievably good.
Satisfying combat helped
Its scary because it feels real.
Crazy junkies and mad homeless people are real and can be very scary.
Not to mention all the creepy as shit serial kill er stuff.
Condemned is a horror game about very real fears.
The AI could be fun too
taser is incredibly overpowered but still good combat
Yeah the taser making it too easy is really my only critcism
>appleseed orchard
His ethnicity is Launch 360 Game
aka Justified Hobo Killer: the game
lel
It was fine for me? Outside of the last two hours which went full on guns-or-gtfo, but everything up to that point was more fucked-up SAW-style shit which is what I wanted more from the first game.
>also what the fuck is that box's deal, were they somehow unable to into transparency?
They actually fixed this in the western release of 0, it's a transparent "Sega" now instead of that horrendous black box Ishin has. No idea on Kiwami though, but 6 has it fixed as well.
>playing weeb trash
