Twitch chat controls it, if you pick a prize then it selects between all of the people who voted to "drop" the claw, it will then assign some prize. I was thinking steam gift cards.

The only prize grabbers worth playing are the SEGA UFO catchers, but even outside of Japan you should be aware that some asshole arcades rig them with that pay out rate bullshit.

I won a Sonic plush and a Garfield plush from a claw machine once because double pay out rate. Also won 1000 tickets from a Pac Man ball game once.

this machine is too old to have that stuff. it barely has adjustable strength. it's set to 100% now.

Is there movement for slight movement? It feels like some prizes are hard to get based on how far the claw moves on commands.

The trick is mentally spacing the thing on a 3D plane so that you know the position of the claw relative to the toy. Helps to throw in a test try to see how the claw works and is likely to act. After that, just look for toys that are sitting on top and are relatively unobstructed or have huge features that can be easily hooked on the claw. Avoid freshly packed machines that employees cram together, instead aiming for machines others have "loosened".

Also know that no matter how good you are, the claw only grips hard enough to pick shit up a certain percentage of the time. In some states they're required to put the odds on a label.

This particular claw machine is at 100% all the time. I built it.

it got a double so i'm impressed, although i probably have to fuck with the amount that the claw moves on each command.

I live near the shore/boardwalk and have a large horde of plush shit won out of crane machines, over 30 or so. I would post a picture but some of the plush are of a subject matter that will trigger a certain dog-fucker.

the rotation is kind of consistent, only because we had to add another cable to power the claw-cam

OP, I know you just started this, but I think you need a slightly more varied soundtrack. The songs you've picked aren't bad, but I'm pretty sure what you have has looped a few times already.
