I've always found the more tactical support classes to be a lot more fun and engaging then just mindlessly spamming damage. Mercy is really mind numbing but Lucio, zen, and Ana all have a lot of complex meta games you have to do in order to be as effective as you need to be to win games. Zarya as well requires a tactical view on the match in order to actually play effectively and not just spamming your shields whenever they're up.

I can save teammates in two different ways. Go fuck yourself.

Why do they keep slowing Lucio down? Going fast while wall riding as Lucio is some of the most fun shit in game and they keep taking it away.

Play with competent people. Discord squishy targets like Mercy and Tracer and call it out. Your team mates should hopefully do the rest.
And just generally learn how to aim and shoot as him. He can take down any non-tank quickly if you score headshots and still pretty viable if you're evasive enough against tanks.

Necessary but in most situations it's the most boring support to play. Unless you get into some crazy chases where the enemy keeps trying to focus you down while you fly to your teammates, but even that is far less engaging then any other healer in game.
