Any PCfags here who prefer controller over m&k?

What games do you use them on?
Why?
What are some problems you run into because of this?
Are you also getting murderous thoughts when console fags act like the controller is gods present to gamers and therefore their platform is better, ignoring you can use a controller on pc?

>What games do you use them on?
Almost every single player game that supports it and isn't a point & click game or an rts
>Why?
Been a consolefag for most of my live, old habits die hard.
>What are some problems you run into because of this?
Some nice looking games like divine divinity and stalker don't have controller support.
>Are you also getting murderous thoughts when console fags act like the controller is gods present to gamers and therefore their platform is better, ignoring you can use a controller on pc?
hell yes

Anything that's locked to 30fps and platformers like Hat in Time

Shooter, strategy, etc = Mouse
Platformer, RPG, Racing, etc = Controller

Unless the RPG is old and meant for PC (Witcher 1) I'll use a controller. Currently playing A Hat In Time. I'm not playing that on a keyboard.

no, unless the game has fucked up m&k controls like dark souls

> RPG
> controller
?

I was thinking of the Witcher 3 when I typed that. I'm really picky about my mouse sensitivity in shooters so I try to avoid using a mouse and hurting my aim whenever possible. Any time I play a game that has dogshit sensitivity settings part of me died inside.

Fucking Fortnite BR

Gyro aiming isn't too bad, still doesn't beat a M&K, but its at least tolerable.

i only use a controller on racing and flying games

Pcbros to weak to act on murderous thoughts just like they're too weak to use a controller
Gotta rely on mouse to make up for shit aiming

I use them because gaming with a mouse hurts my wrist. Any and every game that let me. I'm awful at playing now, but comfortable.

I swap between Xbone controller and KBM depending on whether I'm kicking back in bed or sat at my desk, although any game where you have to aim is infinitely better with a mouse and any game with driving is fairly better with a controller.

i dont prefer either, depending on what game is what i use either m&k or controller, hotas for simulators

In games that were built for xbox controls like Mark of the Ninja? Yes. In certain games like Need for Speed Hot Persuit or Eurotruck Sim that are better suited to a steering wheel? Yes. Anything else? Fuck no.

depends on the game. I use m&keyboard for every online game, i use a controller for several singeplayer games such as 2d platformers and 3rd person shooters like just cause and mgsv.

it's pretty interchangable, alot of the time the buttons on the controller are better and more intuitive than the key placement they have bound to the game

are you fucking retarded, op said he's a pc player who uses a controller.
You do realise shooters on console use aim assisstance? Who has to make up for his shit gaming.

I use one where possible, have arthritis in my hands, controller is far easier in general to use for longer.

Things that piss me off

No controller support on games that come out on console
Half assed support

Shit I love
Being able to find decent controller maps on steam easily

kb+m is still the better choice and for RTS/ fast shooters it'll always be better but I can hold my own in most FPS with a controller.

I use both, used controller for Dark Souls, Yooka Laylee and used m+KB for RE7

I don't own a controller.

>No controller support on games that come out on console
this, this is simply to common. and really annoying. I know there is stuff like xpadder and joy to key but in my experience, once you have to use the analogstick/mouse it all comes crashing down.

Yup pretty much. Also fucking aRPGs are perfect controller games but the support is either shit (grim dawn) or not there (almost every other fucking game)

I don't play games on pc because pcs are for work and consoles are for gaming.

I use controller for a lot of games, but I don't play anything competitively so I don't need to aim that well. I really only use the controller for single player, but for anything like RTS or simulators I use mouse and keyboard.
