The PS4 one is obvious but is there a chance for the 3DS version to be localized?

Since no one bought 3DS in the west answer is no

They probably will

I hope they bring over the dual pack collector's edition.

...

At worst they'll delay the 3DS version, although if Square really does want to gimp sales of DQ in the west, they won't bring it over, speaking of which, why does Sqeenix hate bring DQ to the west? The games sell pretty well and the staff that works on DQ actually want people around the world to play it, but Square insists on keeping it Japan exclusive

I don't a reason not to. The question though would be how long it would take.

*see

Literally stopped caring the moment the protagonist had only one option in marriage and it wasn't this girl. And no, they're not related nor half siblings, dumb shitposters..

Soundtrack is fucked, no voice acting, and no two options in marriage. Fucking retarded.

You have terrible priorities.

Who is this ponytail wearing sexiness?

Gaming's new sex symbol.

...

DragonQuest 8 was already overstocked when they sent an unwanted second shipment to retail stores. Think Mass Effect: Andromeda and Battleborn. JRPGs were gaining popularity but gaming wasn't mainstream. Most teens just walked by it as is, let alone businessmen trying to use vacation days to play it.

Hi there.

I'd like to know her name in English for... research purposes.

Where is the doujinshi? Oh, that's right, it's Japan. They'd rather parody some shitty Japanese indie game.

Considering they first released the confirmation video from the director of the series on the Nintendo UK channel, yeah pretty much

Yo.

Martina. Have fun.

Martina.

>Where is the doujinshi?
Where it normally is? There are some out.

Who is going to be best girl in the West? Veronica, right?

Thanks, I will.

There's one on Sadpanda.
It's /ss/

...

I'm seeing another where she gets fucked by orcs in a bunny outfit, that should cover all the bases.

the low rate she is receiving lewds is kind of worrying. isn't DQ huge in nipland?

>Where is the doujinshi
Here.

>toriyama

I wanna lick those pits

It's indeed huge, but not just with the normal vidya crowd. DQ is popular with normies, children, middle aged salary men, old moms, etc. It's popular with a lot of people who don't make porn.

She can't be married, only the blonde.

Does anyone actually like the childhood girl?

Japs only care about Bianca getting horsecock when it comes to DQ porn.

>only the blonde
well fuck japan and their shit taste

I think it's just Japan that loves that childhood friend lover thing in their movies, anime, and games. I know people have been posting lewd images, but Martina's co-op super moves with the hero are fucking hot as hell. It's the ultimate case of blue balls since the game forces you with the blonde. Fuck.

Good to see you man

Best girl.

Every girl in the party is superior to her. It's like Jessica > Medea again.

Does the 3DS version have any improvements to the gameplay compared to the PS4 or are they the same

>Bianca getting horsecock when it comes to DQ porn.
Good, I never liked her

Welp. I thought as much. Still couldn't hurt to ask.

PS4 version has dumbed down combat, while 3DS has the classic DQ system.

Yeah she's the shittiest option.
But japs love bland vanilla flavour.

The same, just uglier.

Yes I've seen everyone getting love on 2ch

If Bianca is bland vanilla, what is the blue haired cardboard cutout?
A flavorless gruel of wood pulp and chemically pure water?

>But japs love bland vanilla flavour.
I thought that was Nera/Flora I don't regret marryig her

youtu.be/bUNbAD2FLrA?t=718

I time stamped TWO REALLY GOOD FRIENDS doing a super move and dancing but they are just REALLY GOOD FRIENDS because Japan likes the blonde instead.

what did he mean by this?

Nera actually has a personality and a character growth you can see during the course of the game.
Bianca only has the childhood friend bias and the horsedick memes. Even a joke character like Deborah has a better written arc.

That in the PS4 version you don't pick your characters' actions at the beginning of the turn, you do when it's their time to move. It's casualized.

>more complex
>casualized
what did he mean by this?

Give me them odds on more updated content for the Western version. Soundtrack, voice acting, alternative marriages.

>having the possibility to change your strategy anytime is more complex that having to plan and predict the outcome of the turn in advance
Tell me more.

>being this retarded
fun fact : you're wrong

Let's talk about the best DQ girl.

>namecalling with no arguments
And we're done here.

0.
Wait 15 years for the remake of the remake.

I like her quite a bit.

good. get out of this thread.

Yes. It fundamentally is a more dynamic system and engaging system. You're deciding movement by movement what you'll do against foes who will be doing the same as opposed to your team's volley of attacks and spells vs the enemies volley of attacks and spells.

>unironically replying to a shitposter nintenbaby

But what if he's just a dumb retard who doesn't know any better?

Is this a joke?
It's like comparing a snes game to the ps4
what the fuck

I want pafupafu by martina ha hs ha ha

Wait, what the fuck? So it's real time but everything else remains the same? FF7 real time vs FF10 turn based, is that what you mean?

>So it's real time
It is not real time.

It simply removes a layer of strategy and planning. Before you had to consider for example if there was the possibility of your character dying even if his HP weren't terribly low, and decide if defend/heal or take a gamble. It was a feature that always set DQ apart from most JRPGs.
Now you don't have to plan anything, you can react to the enemy anytime like in any Final Fantasy. And it makes computer controlled party members completely useless.
Thank god there's still a not watered down option.

Shut up retard

...

>toriyama

two really good FRIENDS with nothing going in between them

>Before you had to consider for example if there was the possibility of your character dying even if his HP weren't terribly low, and decide if defend/heal or take a gamble
This is still true, because you don't specifically know who's turn is next at any time, nor do you know what attacks will come as well as who could be targeted.

>actually do it yourself
vs
>let the AI do the exact same shit for you
You post this shit every DQ thread, and get proven wrong the same way every time.

I want to paizuri Martina

Very very good "friends"

>Those armpits

didnt you know?
autocombat is the deepest system since you you had to consider for example if there was the possibility of your character dying even if his HP weren't terribly low, and decide if you want to fight or not or take a gamble

Surely the deepest system of all is mobage where the entire party is AI controlled, and you have take a gamble on whether to tap "enter dungeon" or not and risk your whole party killing themselves.

oh come one, it's not like we didn't put our healer on auto to heal in mid turns before.

exactly
being able to control your character makes it so you don't have to plan anything, you can react to the enemy anytime like in any game ever. And it makes computer controlled party members completely useless.

My man of excellent taste.

I hope not, so people won't play the shitty Compromise™ version of my new favorite game and then talk shit about it

It's a way to keep DQ threads alive without waifus, I guess.

Anyway, in case he happens to look here, I made a thread here a few days ago about a boss fight in DQ11 and his responses helped me get through it. Yes, there was a time that a thread on Sup Forums was actually constructive. If you're reading this thread, thank you.

>This is still true
Much, much less so.
With the AI, you sacrificed actual control of your party and in exchange gave then the possibility to react in emergency situations. Yet another strategic choice made pointless by the new system.
>get proven wrong the same way every time.
The irony. Just admit that you preferito fancy graphics to not dumbed down gameplay. Which is kind of an oxymorous for Dragon Quest.

>Much, much less so.
You haven't explained why.

>Yes, there was a time that a thread on Sup Forums was actually constructive.
That's quite lucky user.

Post gameplay of post game bonus boss fight content.

Just use logic. Before you had to predict the entire turn, now you just have to worry about when your character turn will be and decide what to make him do then.

>yfw you found out Silvia's real name is Goliath
How bad are they going to fuck this up in the localization?

Also, his unique skill tree is called "Otome" and one of his skill attacks is Gold Shower.

Just use logic. Before you had to predict the entire fight, now you just have to worry about when your character will return and decide what to make him do then.

Controlling the game is a very casul thing to do, as you will always be able to react to AI actions, because you're smarter and have more options as a human, so downloading the game and just hitting "play yourself" would be the most interesting thing to do as this is a gamble, where you need to predict the entire game an whether your AI team will die or not even before you know who they are.

I'll never see it, and I won't look it up. Feel free to post it yourself.
The former just leads to more wasted actions, because the enemy AI can adjust at will regardless. You still have to worry about future actions on an individual basis.

Dude I'm not giving you (You)s, just give up.
This is the reason why talking about DQ outside of /vr/ is a bad idea, children and console war shitposter everywhere.

just look up ニズゼルファ for the boss
you really shouldn't look too much stuff if you are going to play the game though. The "post game" is really just a continuation of the story, with a lot of major story events and twists and shit

>inb4 censored

I just wanna know one thing personally.

Tell me there's extra dungeons.

reminder that auto combat is best combat
