who the fuck CARES pokemon has always been easy except for some of the outright shitty mechanics in gen 1, the Whitney gym battle in gen 2, and occasional endgame content sprinkled across other games, it has NEVER been difficult for the majority of the game unless you impose limiting rules on yourself or if you get totally fucked by RNG

You can transfer in any Pokemon from your old games using Pokemon Bank, but in the new games there are always some old Pokemon that aren't found in the wild, like starters and legendaries from old gens. But they get given away online sometimes.

After replaying Sun/Moon, I can't wait.
There was a lot of potential for the villains of the game but it was wasted on cliche bullshit, and the amount of Pokémon I could pick from was heavily skewed for 1st gen Pokémon. Nonetheless it looks like the story won't be a complete rehash of "find the boxcover legendary Pokémon" "control teh Pokémon and become god" "oh no I can't control it" like gens 3 4 5 and 6 were so cutscenes or not I'm hype
