no but your post made me throw up a little
Honestly, no... some movies did make me cry, tho
why?
The ending of super Mario 64 made me cry. I dunno why.
Of course not, do you take me for some sort of sissy?
mary's letter in SH2
Nier and Undertale. A bunch of others got me pretty close, like Silent Hill 2 and Persona 3.
yes
the end of undertale made me cry
Yakuza 0
One tear after Walking dead s1and parts in s2 where they mention the previous one
Oneshot, multiple times
Yes.
Skies of arcadia
...
That dragon cancer
>crying over childrens toys
Dark Souls
metal gear solid peace walker ;-: the ending
Fuck dude. I'm 31, and i just got around to beating this game. Honestly one of the only vg endings to ever really get to me, emotionally. Such a perfect choice of song with "The parting glass"
Medal of Honor 2010 and 2012. I don't even care if i get shit for this. I knew Rabbit wasn't going to make it but it still hurts. Losing Mother was hard man.
...
Ori and the Blind Forest got pretty close for me.
I cried the first time I watched the ending of MGS2. It really made me a whole lot about my mortality, and the future of humanity. Perfect end to a perfect game.
I Feel you skies of arcadia fag,
Mine is lost odyssey
I can't let you go, I won't!
Zelda ocarina, mario 64, mario rpg, undertale and crisis core
sad parts make me tear up from time to time, but the two times i CRIED, like really cried were:
>pic related
>after i killed my sister for a sword in fable
Red dead redemption.
Also mass effect 3, but not for the quality of the story. I knew that night that that was the literal end to the entire franchise.... still sad about it.
Lots of times. But I can cry at a sad image without context or even kind words. Really hate it because I struggle to remain collected even among people.
I'm also a big burly guy so it just looks off and creepy.
played Fragile Dreams recently;
it almost got me.
all the shitty backtracking kind of took the wind out of my sails and i was too bored to get sad about it, though.
despite all the shitty things about mgs4, you gotta admit this moment was kino as fuck.
Yes
Because the adventure was over.
The ending of Ar nosurge almost made me cry. but I didn't and left Ion with a smile on my face.
The Walking Dead
Life is Strange
No
Silent Hill 2, and SOMA.
>Life is Strange
faggot
Oot? What? How?
No movie or game made me cry until I finished the Mass Effect Trilogy. It's like a switch got flipped and since then I am able to get emotional and into things such as game and movie worlds. Still only ME Trilogy managed to make me care for my fictional niggas.
Technically I have teared up during several of the games mentioned, but I'll have you know that I'm a manly man, Frog Poster.
>skies of arcadia
That part where ramirez burns down your island.
And then that fucking part, when everyone helps you fighting against galcian. Shit man, that hit too hard.
Been a couple that made me tear up a bit but I can never remember them. Maybe MGS3? Probably just getting flashbacks to the first person view cutscene
At the end of party rpg's when there's a slideshow with what became of every character and you realize the adventure is over and its back to your empty friendless life
stop
I couldn't save him
I promised I would protect that smile, but I couldn't and now I don't even remember his name, I can only remember this pain, the pain of failing.
first run through i ever did i was told to do a pacifist run and the ending nearly got me.
Yes
When Princess Kara's pet pig Hamlet sacrificed itself to feed that starving village.
The ending of Super Mario 64 as a kid.
and the best ending of TWD where you tell Clem to leave. If you made her shoot Lee you are legitimately a brainlet. I'm not kidding. You're retarded.
The original Utawarerumono was amazing. A great game, great story and the ending is the only game ending that managed to make me cry.

For all the issues this game had, it really made you care about your partner and some of the other characters. Which is more than all the others in the series did for me.
robots get me like nothing else. granted it's not hard at all to make me cry.
You are not alone, this got me too
game that got me the closest to crying would probably either Mother 3 or Lisa the Painful
I got sad at the end of the beginner's guide when the narrator begins to trail off and you float up over the endless maze.
That's one of the few 'art' games I actually like.
This and pretty much every mystery dungeon games
If a story driven game does not make me cry, it is shit.
Many times. FF7 was the first, as I was pretty little (like 8 I think?) and I really liked Aerith's character. Had no idea that was coming.
From there, not for a long time until I discovered the world of VNs. Holy shit why do these exist, they're so fucking depressing. Played Clannad and Afterstory in early 2000s, wanko to kurasou.. Mikan running away had me bawling.
And then lastly and only recently, Nier Automata made me feel pretty shitty but didn't quite get me to crying levels. I've got a pretty small strike zone on what it takes to make me care about a character I guess?
Made in Abyss though, that shit had me not only depressed but in general just uncomfortably disturbed. Game is when?
...
Man I loved how DQ7 had all those self-contained stories, especially since a lot of them don't turn out the way you'd expect them to.
not really - there was a sad moment, when the stockpile bloke from DeS was asking to give him his daughter's hairpin i found somewhere.
>For all the issues this game had
I feel like if Gates had been my first entry into the series I might have loved it, but as it stands it was so fucking slow and disappointing that I had to force myself to finish the game. The ending would have been more emotional for me had I actually had fun playing the game, and had I not experienced the same fucking thing twice beforehand.
Even just making the text speed faster than kindergarten mode would have gone a long way in making the game much more playable.
I've never cried over vidya, or any media for that matter, at best I get choked up and watery eyes, but there are some games that legitimately made sad and a little mad too. The ending of pic related was one that really got me.
First game that made me tear up like a bitch was MGS3. The entire ending and then ending with way to fall broke me. I was a teen at the time, I couldn't handle it. It still makes me emotional when I replay it. MGS 2 may have sucked any bit of optimism from my soul but MGS3 made me cry. Most recently Pyre did me in by the end credits. I felt pretty damn bad that I couldn't save everyone, I felt somewhat selfish escaping myself while leaving others behind and how a character killed himself because I left and he had to stay down forever. The liberation rite music as well as the credits music hit me pretty fucking hard emotionally, and how the songs change and the ending song's bits change entirely depending on who escaped and who remained down below, it's hard not to feel terrible.
Undertale definitely made me emotional as hell, though that's been said numerous times. Red dead redemption had a strong emotional ending, as did the first season of The walking dead.
Of course those are all sad tears. I've had happy years from Vidya almost exclusively, games which managed to do so well that they sort of put me in a state of when I was actually happy as a kid.
2hu ctc
yes ;_;

2:39, where you see the girl crying at her lovers grave
keep that hair short
Only VNs
Persona 3's ending almost made my cry, though.
Yeah, Majin Kitty, but I don't remember which.
Closest I could think of was the title menu of MGS3: Snake Eater. I thought it was corny, James Bond parody b/s everytime I heard it. Then I beat the game and it changed forever. Now, she sounds like Boss.
Mass effect 3 when Anderson said he was proud of me and maybe the ending of a couple Metal Gear Solid games I can't remember. It's weird because I cry easily at movies but out of the hundreds of games I've played, a lot of which made me feel very emotional, only a couple games have made my eyes wet.
Oh and when I was really young whenever I was stuck on a hard game I'd cry tears of frustration
fag
Phoenix Wright 1&3, Ghost trick, Hotel Dusk, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Red Dead Redemption, Nier, Nier: automata, undertale, a pokemon blue nuzlocke run, animal crossing (indirectly as it made me realize what a lonely fuck I was)
Life is Strange
Serious question - Who the hell has been spamming these threads? It's been made 92 times since last April.
The Last Guardian
The righteousness
I can't remember. However, the final trial in Danganronpa V3 fucked me up so hard. I literally paused the game and laid down on my bed for 20 minutes just thinking and feeling paranoid.
The secret world.
In tye second Egypt zone, you learn the story of the seven sentinels and their father.
It's heart wrenching.
but it also motivates you to finish the zone to kill the black Pharaoh once and for all so the souls of the sentinels can finally pass on
Red dead redemption, the guy was forced to hunt his own brothers so he could have his wife and son back again, and in the end, it was all for nothing.

you're lying if you say you didn't find this part sad
MGS4 Shadow Moses arrival
MGS4 Microwave chamber
hit me hard on 1998 memories
I don't even remember the game's story, but I remember feeling crushed by the ending, Zack had a rough life.

E102 Gamma’s ending in Sonic Adventure
imagine how much more powerful that moment would've been if the game leading up to it was actually good
...
XV was my GOTY tbqh familia.
The Nier Automata scripts came close
The ones about 2B killing 9S are fucking depressing
To The Moon
