what went wrong?

Nocturne

1st page

...

i've been told Nocturne is utter shit
It does look interesting though

the guy who said that probably sucks cock

he swims in mad pusy

The person who told you that was wrong.

Fes is the best version, the best platform is pcsx2 because you can up the resolution.

PC FES. Then once you're done play an actual mega ten game, not one given the name by the west.

What do you mean by actual mega ten?
Nocturne?

Nocturne is a poor representation of mainline themes.
SJ and IV duology are better entry points.

People say P3 Portable is the best, but its Phantom Pain-tier in that it's missing content. It also scrapped the overworld exploration, which sucks.

I'd go with P3 FES

Anyone who suggests P3P for reasons other than replaying P3 should be kneecapped.

Wait for the upcoming HD remake.

i'll play it on emu
ain't got no money for games

Buy a copy of FES, dump an ISO of it, and play it in PCSX2.

>Doing this when its literally out free
Come on
But yeah do this, it gives the option to speed it up for repeating tasks

Whats the point of buying a copy, can you even buy official ones anymore?

>not emulating it straight out of your disc drive

P3P is the best version

You don't actually believe that, you are just baiting.

You can buy copies of the original game on Amazon, it just costs more.

I bought my copy of FES on Amazon for $15

Most PCs don't have disc drives nowadays.

DVD/Blu-ray drives on PC are only useful for dumping ISOs and watching DVDs.

Also, loading times are faster when its dumped.

any reason why?

Fight me

You can control your party members directly

>What do you mean by actual mega ten?
Nocturne is a real megami tensei game, but sure.

I mean games that are dungeon crawlers first. SMT I, II, ...if, MT1&2, III, IV, IV:F. Maybe a Devil Summoner/Soul Hackers game if you're feeling kinky. None of the non-SMT trash though like DDS or Persona.

At the cost of ruining the presentation of the story, it isn't worth it, some of the scenes are laughably terrible in how poorly they translate to p3p.

PSP
so you can be the girl

>Most PCs don't have disc drives nowadays.
What? What the fuck user? They do, if you put one in it. What the fuck are you talking about?
All my computers have disk drives, my Bedroom PC even has an external BD in addition to a DVD drive.

Why did you include IV / IV:F then?

It's just taste at that point, basically it comes down to
>P3P or P3FES?

>P3P
Pros:
>better gameplay
>it's on a handheld
>alternate girl route
>easy to emulate
Cons:
>it's on a handheld
>worse presentation
>no The Answer

>P3FES
Pros:
>better presentation
>has The Answer
>easy to emulate
Cons:
>worse gameplay
>no alternate girl route

On another note I saw the characters models for the new P3 dancing game and it makes me hyped for a P3 remake. Just combine P3FES and P3P with the P5 graphics. Make it happen.

The gameplay is P3P is bad, braindead easy.

Learn to use tactics moron

I think its going to happen, there was a poll where they asked people what games they wanted which had the p3 and p5 dancing games and pq2, it also had a p3 remake as an option.

Play 3 FES, it gives the most complete experience.

I love Fuuka

I just noticed that the food is made of 3d models, I didn't realise it was that detailed.

>FES is better

FES on a real PS2. It's pretty cheap nowadays and softmodding a PS2 to play a pirated copy is pretty easy. I got 3FES, 4 and Nocturne on ebay for like 50 bucks a few months a go.

Whats the point of playing on a real ps2 when you can render at a much higher resolution by emulating.

Yeah, Emulation gives new life to these games some times.

for

accuracy. You do have a PS2 and a CRT for pre 7th gen games, right user?

>IV

FES without a single doubt.

PS2 is obviously great, some PCs have trouble rendering shadows and you need to go through the bother of setting up the flawed PS2 emulation, but many people have still played it that way and it seemed to work for them.
I never really heard any complain about the PSN version, although some other megaten ports are infamous for desinc issues and corrupted saves.

Yeah, it's fairly cheap and you can actually support the company.

Ever since the series blew up in popularity, Atlus made a reprint of most of its PS2 catalog.
