Please, no game ever has the best class
Shadowrun?
Anything ranged with cool stuff, after that i play a dual wielder if possible, otherwise a soldier or a paladin
DICK
ASS
THIEF
It's never so much an issue of picking a class as it is picking between using a two-handed weapon or one-handed+shield on the fighter/warrior equivalent.
Not an MMO but League of Legends has a Gun Mage
Rogue or closest equivalent melee specialist everytime. EZ
>Summoner/Conjurer
>"Oh boy can't wait to swarm the enemies with an army
>Summons one or two derpy allies
Fuck you Divinity OS
I never pick a magic user as a main character.
Don't know why. It just feels wrong.
Maybe it's because in most games where that's an option the magic user doesn't get relevant until the last half of the game.
Paladin everytime. Heal the party, be a stonewall shield, and smite the undead all day every day.
Red Mage master race.

Warrior is always the safest roll on a first playthrough, because it's a 50/50 chance the game has fun magic combat. If the magic turns out to be fun, mage is always the best class then.
Pretty much that same logic for me but rogue instead of warrior for dem crits
>game has a bard class
>Rogues who focus on using opportunistic strategies, while being able to hold their own in a fight with nimble maneuvers and swift attacks often with a variety of options such as sword, daggers, throwing weapons, bows, poisons, and sometimes primitive firearms
This sucks man
It's always "sneak for one shot glass canon" or "a fighter but shit" and usually the game's have such lame combat that being a rogue doesn't matter.
Fuck thieves. Fuck the assassin archtype. Rogues are never done right and are always just a shitter sneak-focused class.
