What am I in for?
An inferior version to the second one
An okay game held back by insistence on using the sort of bad point & click interface that should have been ditched 20 years ago.
Just use a controller.
Unfunny, shitty Larian writing and humor.
a bunch of lizard sex
RED AN YELLA, ORANGE AN GREEN, THE FINEST VEGGIES CYSEAL'S EVA SEEN!
I hope you're in the mood for cheese
POTIONS TO BEMUSSLE YOU
SCROOOOOLLLSSS TO ENTUSSLE YOU
As someone who just finished the first act, it seems really good. I'm playing with a friend on classic and while the fights don't seem too hard they definitely offer some challenge. Learn to steal everything in cyseal asap
FRESH FISH, THESE ARE ONLY HOURS FROM THE SEAAAAH
you saw the best part and can stop now and go play OS 2
im trying to come up with a good rp idea for my 2 starting guys. Good cop bad cop? Happy go lucky wizard and angry inquisitor?
WHERE DID I PUT THAT PEPPER
*sneezes*
AH, THERE IT IS
From what I've heard i don't like the new armour system. Prioritizes pure physical dps of magical dps/any spell at all
NO ONE HAS AS MANY FRIENDS
AS THE MAN WITH MANY CHEESES
I got it near the end of EA because of rampant shilling on other forums, some not even about vidya. It was incredibly slow and boring and I don't understand why so many people kept saying it was an instant GOTY. 2nd game is much better, I actually like it but I still don't think it's GOTY material mostly because of the bugs and awkward writing.
>Prioritizes pure physical dps of magical dps/any spell at all
what?
I think the new armor system is clearly superior and forces the player to prioritize certain targets with certain attacks.
If you're playing with a friend, just pick the Lone Wolf talent and do a 2-man party, you'll be strong enough to pick whatever playstyle you want.
the game is easy enough as it is. Just buff 2 fighters with everything that gives them extra damage and extra AP and watch them annihilate.
OS 2 is much better balanced.
Much less useful when you can just specc all your characters into phys and just rape everyone one at a time with hardly any damage reductions
I may be playing with one more friend.
Beaides, lonewolf is easy mode, although I shouldn't be talking because in D:OS1 I'm playing a all around iquisitor with glass canon and the works
*inquisitor
>Much less useful when you can just specc all your characters into phys and just rape everyone one at a time with hardly any damage reductions
what about enemies with a ton of physical armor and no magic armor? you just make battles more difficult for no reason
Magic has surfaces to make up for this. My GF and I have cheesed our way through half the game as a pair of mages with rain, contamination, and fireball.
>no magic armor
assrape with status effects
There's no lizards in the first game, retard
>he plays video games for the writing
Divinity's strong suit is gameplay. You know, the thing that distinguishes video games from other visual media
>the lady who gets you off the starting isles in DOS2 has the same voice actor
She does a good job of sounding like a different person, but every time I talk to her all I can hear is "COME JOIN THE SPUD CLUUUB IF YOU'VE GOT AN -EYE- FOR FINE POTATOES"
ROCK PAPER SCISSORS MOTHERFUCKER
cheese gets fucked over in the dystopian future, cheese is only peddled by criminal hawkers who'll just as soon slit your throat or pick your pocket as sell you a slice of this fine gorgumbert
>certain targets with certain attacks
And most of them will have lower physical armor than magical armor. I had to pick up negromancy and summoning on my mage just because I needed something to shit out physical damage for when 5/6 of the targets in an encounter have 1000 magic armor but only 300 physical. My "mage" is pretty much a support character at this point, I respecced out of pyromancy and put all my shit in summoning.
A better game than Divinity Original Sin 2
what, that VO was Malady? Goddamn it, I'll never be able to unhear it now
an okay CRPG
Gr8 OST.
