How is it like Witcher 3? Witcher 3 is just more advanced old Assassin's Creed combat, this origin combat looks much more like Soulsborne where you have to dodge, jump in and attack and dodge back out again.

It means that open world RPGs are the big thing now and they are copying it. Upgrade system is fun where it fits. It doesn't fin in a AC game. Have you even played the originals? They were suppose to be Prince of Persia spiritual successor which is way more like uncharted and Tomb Raider, than like witcher and dark souls

Unlike CoD there's actually a reason for asscreed to stick around though: It covers interesting settings that would otherwise never get a big budget game for them.
It's essentially a gameplay template to slap onto cool settings, and from that perspective i'm fine with the series.

Absolutely loved 1,2, Brotherhood, 3 and Black Flag. Unity was missing something that caused me to lose interest in the franchise as a whole. It looked beautiful but the combat change was just too much, it didn't feel like the same series anymore.

I haven't looked into it yet, but I really hope they are offering a deluxe edition and perhaps even a gold edition for those of us who really take their gaming seriously. They would likely also have a base version of the game at a lower price so our poorer friends who like to game on a budget could join the fray.
