DUDE LE EPIC TFW NO GF MOVIE LMAO

chill the fuck out, reddit

The Deus Ex series. it's essentially the same story/atmosphere.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4 are just as long, tedious, pseudo-philosophical, and boring

Deus ex

>2049 is boring
>t. brainlet

that elvis scene was so fucking loud holy shit

is blade runner out on torrent already?

What games look the most like 2049? We've got The Last Night coming out next year, and Ruiner (although the color palettes in both of those look nothing like 2049).

are you having a fit?

Brigador and Scrapland.

>video games
>feelings
That's a real almond firing joke Good Joe

Dead Money

>Not going alone to the kinoplex to watch it
typical pleb

Deus Ex looks nothing like Blade Runner

Watch it in IMAX

Only shitty cams
Go to the cinema, it's worth it.

DDLC

SEETHING

Right, but its story shares a lot of similarities with Blade Runner. You can get a similar vibe when playing it, even if they look drastically different.

CELLS INTERLINKED

kys, weebshit

>2049 isn't boring

He's letting a fucking clown jump scare movie make more money than kino

Don't let the most pure kino to ever hit theaters go unrewarded, user.

KINO!!!!!!! KINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does the top text in the image say in Jap? I know the kanas but I can't read that for shit.

Blade Runner wasn't that good.

...

watch your fucking mouth m8

>ctrl F "E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy"

nothing but plebs here, i bet your legs arent even ok

...

Already played long ago, what else?

I'm going to break your legs if you can't fucking find anything else to say about that game besides "muh legs" and "brouzouf". I swear to christ EYE fans probably don't even play the game.

who plays games on Sup Forums?

That Neotokyo level in Timesplitters 2
System Shock is sorta BR esque

Blade Runner
>What really separates humans from machines?
>Is it possible to replicate consciousness?
Blade Runner 2049
>ROBOT MAK BABBY

did you miss the part where they continued the themes from the first Blade Runner

Retard

Well that's what the synths believe but through K getting a reason to do what he does and ultimately work towards a goal, that original statement is considered moot.

They're not even fucking close. Literally the only similarity is genre.

No, I saw how they used the implanted memories theme as a plot device for an epic twist.

>cant into kino
almost feel bad for you desu

Sorry bub but the shitty cringe-inducing one-liner
>are you satisfied with our service
or whatever the fuck she said, automatically dropped the movie out of the kino category.
Actually everything about that character's existence dropped it from kino.

>not watching at 4k with dolby atmos (tm) and handpicked friends that don't talk through the movie
geez louise!

>dat smile

wtf I want to eat her poop now

kek, the original Blade Runner was entirely mediocre. They barely posed those questions at all. The synths were already insane when we met them, and there was barely any interaction with them anyway. Movie was nothing special, certainly not emotionally or intellectually provocative. It was just a vehicle for cool cinematography.

>t. brainlet

compelling argument

Who is this?! I NEED TO KNOW

lmao

...

I was so close to loving that film, but the stuff with Wallace was so fucking pointless and cartoony it felt really out of place, especially the scene where he explains his evil plan to the person who already knows it.

They could have so easily just made it be the police after him with Luv being another runner and used Madam's explanation for why they want to find the child.

The entire movie was dripping with philosophy and if it didn't unironically make you think when you were done watching it then you are literally a low IQ brainlet.

The series of twists used for a shallow plot in 2049 isn't though provoking in any way.
>oh he has implanted memories
>oh shit they aren't implanted they're real!
>oh double shit they were implanted the whole time! what a roller coaster!
literally a movie for casuals

I know I've seen her somewhere but I can't put my finger on it. pls halp

I think there was interesting stuff to think about in 2049, but nothing that wasn't already brought up in the original. Assuming Joi had really grown to love K, and learned new behaviours, is she as human as a synth? how human is that?

torrents are out when bluray is out. Meanwhile you have shitty cams

maybe you should use the force

It's the xenomorph from Alien franchise

Pretty sure it's the fucking garbage open mouthed "actress" from the new star wars films

not enough clutter. everything looked too tidy and sterile

not enough kipple

new star wars lead character

is it good or are you memeing? I loved the first one, but this one isn't directed by ridley scott. Also I love Ford but I fucking hate gosling.

I haven't been to a movie theater in over 13 years and certainly won't go now, but should I refresh piratebay every day? Will I member it years from now or is it just a fun but forgetable movie?

Convenient how you fail to offer any interesting shit that the original actually covered. Probably because there was so little there that you could reach your own conclusions on it with time to spare, and then you would be sitting watching the arduously long scenes of travel with nothing of interest to mentally digest. Explains why they had to make so many different cuts of the fucking thing

Aw fuck yes, I knew it was some recent movie. Literally the only good part of the new star wars. Too bad she has the acting potential of an oyster, she's qt af.

Very well directed, a lot of style, altogether too long and with some very large detractors.

It's definitely better than your average marvel flick but it's not something to be held up with the classics either

unironically this, throw all the shaders, weather effects and a nice texture pack and you're golden

I DON'T UNDERSTAND

Is this actually good?

I loved the first one but I have up on modern western popular media about 7 years ago because it is complete garbage, the worst it ever has been, and a complete disgrace to the previously great media output before it, and a sad reflection of modern American "culture".

If this isn't braindead normalfag sjw trash I will go see it though.

It's good. Great music, fantastic cinematography, good themes, doesn't spell things out too much and Harrisons performance was much better than the original Blade Runner where he mumbles his way through it. Ryan Gosling is Ryan Gosling.

The AI in the movie will make you wish for your own AI waifu too.
Personally an 8.5/10

It's worth seeing. It's got some problems, but it's still good.

It's so goddamn good.

What do you have against Goose?

What did you think of the character Mr. Wallace?

Fuck, Roger Deakins better win an award for this.

Unironically agree. The casino scene gave me strong New Vegas vibes

It's not as good as the first, but it's still very good imo.
It's directed by the guy who did Sicario, which is actual kino.

Honestly, if you don't have a good screen/sound system at home for watching movies i'd highly suggest you see it in theaters. The sound design and cinematography are the best parts of thee movie.

Wallace Corp.

that game some people were making with moebius artstyle

Nothing really. I like him but his performances have been the same lately like he's typecasted into the strong, non-emotional slightly unhinged type. I know it makes more sense in this movie given K's background but I'm weary of his samey roles.

Just a bit over the top but honestly he doesn't take up much screen time and Jared Leto has a decent performance. I'm glad the character was included so little as I felt he was the weakest link in the story.

You might not like it. It kind of feels like they made a check list of things that were in the original and made sure to check them all off. It's clearly an imitation.

Trust me user, it's worth seeing. It's not doing so well box office because it bucks the trend of most trash.

Eh, he wasn't like that in La La Land, but I do see the trend in some of his other roles

>He's never seen Blue Valentine
>He's never seen Nice Guys
>He's never seen La La Land
>He's literally only seen Drive and maybe Only God Forgives

In a way, it's kind of a good thing that it isn't performing well in the box office. I loved 2049 but I really don't want to see this turn into a franchise. It doesn't need more sequels, and I'm afraid that Ridley Scott could easily turn this into another Alien or Terminator clusterfuck of sequels and soft reboots. Just leave it be!

I just thought he was super unnecessary and his clumsy exposition could have so easily been done better. Just wasted runtime in an already long film.

Underrated post

You could've added The Notebook and Lars and the Real Girl. I'm aware of his other performances.

Ok thanks. If Ford is good in it, then I'll refresh piratebay 2 times a day

IT was actually good but nowhere near as good as 2049.
