boring shit game
Walking to the restaurant over and over like a retard because you don't know where you're supposed to go.
the blueballing of a lifetime when you learn CING is gone and you'll never get any more than what's already released
Game Over for being a pedophile.
A godawful adventure game with wonderful art style and writing.
LOUIS
Getting lost like a headless chicken
A merry christmas, characters you get attached to, and a sense of melancholy knowing that the company that made the game went under before they could complete the main character's story arc.
Also, because one puzzle is really dumb. You'll have to touch the screen with two fingers to pull down that damn switch/lever
A cozy-ass mystery with top-notch atmosphere and some painfully obtuse moments.
...
Mystery game with great atmosphere and amazing animation style. Be aware that you can get game overs by selecting the wrong dialogue options in some conversations or by failing some puzzles or going to the wrong place at the wrong time, but these instances are usually decently telegraphed. You must avoid getting any game overs if you want the full ending.
Man i'll miss Louie forever. Tony wasn't bad at all but Louie was such a great character
The best male protagonist in existence.
I was playing this on an emulator on my PC, but it's really uncomfortable.
Surely there's a way to get DS roms working on a hacked 3DS.
>Be aware that you can get game overs by selecting the wrong dialogue options in some conversations or by failing some puzzles or going to the wrong place at the wrong time
>using the crowbar in Dunning's office
>*BANG*
Is it really that good?
>Surely there's a way to get DS roms working on a hacked 3DS.
It's called getting a DS flashcart you nigger.
That's 20-50 in the cubes where I am, fucko.
>That Game Over sequence in which Kyle gets told by a 10-year old
Kek
surely you could just buy a cart and play it on a regular 3DS?
Neck yourself subhuman
>he goes back to his room in disbelief and sulks about it until morning, when the truth is lost forever
Brutal.
Nah, the second one is much better
Quit being a poorfag and buy a flashcart or just buy the gane.
I fell in love when I saw her in Last Window. Like, her head tilt made my heart throb.
how's the second game?
that's literally what I just suggested you fucking rube?
Better.
Pretty good.
just as good as the first
Then why post Columbo if it doesn't live up to it?
...
Wasn't me. It might just be my hazy memory but I can't remember there being any strong clues or anything in the first game, it's just all cards on the table in the end. Second one at least has a "zing" moment.
Shit wrong guy, I guess I'll go to bed
No worries and good night user.
Boring/annoying puzzles.
That's one of the few things I have wrong with the game but it sticks out. Otherwise a great mystery story with loveable characters, so just ignore my bitching.
I don't drink, but Kyle made me want to try a good bourbon. Are they as good as he makes them sound?
Love
Is this the one where it turns out you were a dog the whole time?
>A merry christmas, characters you get attached to, and a sense of melancholy knowing that the company that made the game went under before they could complete the main character's story arc.
>Last Window ends with the aparment complex where Kyle lives being closed down and him half-jokingly stating he'll go live in his car, all the while he dealt another blow to Nile but they're still at large
This could've been an amazing trilogy. ;_;
I mean if you like whiskey already, yeah. You're probably not going to try a bourbon and like it the first time.
But I do enjoy it. Every night actually.
You're thinking of Ghost Trick, and you are a cat in that one, not a dog.
Even computer AI's know it. I'm not even homo.
so this is like twin peaks?
>before they could complete the main character's story arc.
What was left for him though?
>finds out the truth behind Brady
>finds out the truth behind his dad
He seemed pretty content by the end of Last Window. Also can we talk about how Will White and Rex Foster both represented aspects of Hyde's personality?
She doesn't get enough love
>the one when Angel see you entering a room you was'nt supposed to enter
>Dunning caught you
>Isn't this the bar ?
fucking kek
Kind of in the comfy, small town residents kind of feel to it. Much less dark and no supernatural stuff.
youtube.com
No wonder they seemed so real
It's rotoscoped? Does that mean there's a real Kyle Hyde out there somewhere?
Yes. It's actually really similar. There's a main story but it quickly gets kind of lost in all the little character arcs and stuff.
i should emulate her wii game
>Cing filed for bankruptcy in Japan on March 1, 2010.[1] The company was reportedly suffering from liabilities of 256 million yen (USD 2.9m/EUR 2.1m).[2]
fuck
>a real Kyle Hyde
No user don't do this to me. I don't think my heart could handle knowing he is really out there and I can never be with him.
I played through Ghost Trick because everyone was raving about it, but the story left me disappointed. The gameplay is decent, but is barely able to hide the fact that it's linear as fuck. The game dragged on and on. Sure, it had style but ultimately was just 'too Japanese' for my tastes.
Hotel Dusk is only vaguely similar in the broadest strokes and on paper should be worse but I was fully engaged at all times. The game has genuinely great writing. Every character just oozes with life. The game really delivers on atmosphere on mystery without ever going too far. It's down to earth, sometimes funny, charming and comfy as fuck. It's a real slow burn, but it's very deliberate. I'm still amazed that this came from a Japanese company.
By the way, you might want to get the US release since the UK adjusts some references and spelling. Nothing major but it's set in the US.
I WANT TO PROTECT THAT SMILE!
The best game in the point n' click genre
How's last window? I finished Hotel Dusk in june so I'm just wondering, it's mostly disconnected from the events of 1, and any stupid gimmick puzzles?
>tfw imagining the poor fucks who saved inside the room
>Cing went bankrupt 7 years ago
I actually like Last Window's story a little more, but that's pretty subjective. And yeah lots of stupid gimmick puzzles.
Just little connections here and there. If you liked Hotel Dusk, you'll like Last Window too, go for it.
im sorry user but Cold Case tanked and the team was disbanded
They're gone
This series ending along with the death of Cing proves that we're on a terrible timeline.
Sadly this. Not only was the game short as hell but it left on a cliffhanger and I wondered why this was until I found out the behind the scenes stuff. Sucks cause I liked the characters
