I bought my Wii U late (in early 2016) around the same time I got a PS4. I used it way more so far than the Playstation. I use my 3DS more than both of the other systems combined though.

I'm the opposite, I had my Wii U since 2013 and never liked it, I've used my PS4 I got in 2015 way more.

Nah I got my money's out of it, mh3 alone was a 300 hour drive for me and I got a bunch of other first party shit. It was by no means a good console but I used it more than my ps4 before that thing died

It wasn't my worst purchase, but it was less good than every other console I own with the exception of the sega saturn. I've still got a few games that I've never even opened to play on it since it's such a pain in the ass to set up.

This, but it's not like 360 was worse than Wii U, it's just that I had all the multiplatform games I cared about on PS3 already and my 360 was exclusively for Tales of Vesperia. I have 4 Wii U games vs 2 360 games, so yeah I got more out of Wii U.

I never got into Mario Maker at all because all of the levels I came across were complete trash and BOTW didn't come out until the literal end of the Wii U's life. Sure would've been nice to play while it was collecting dust throughout the entirety of 2016

Got a lot more out of it than the Wii. I have about 10 games for it that I really like. In fact that's more than I had for my GameCube as a kid.

Bought mine secondhand in 2014 for €140, bought most games secondhand too except for W101 because I was that hyped(it delivered, best Wii U game for my personal tastes).

I only pirated Breath of the Wild because fuck paying Nintendo after killing the Wii U in just 4 years, I am now pirating all the eshop games like Shovel Knight and such and damn they're good.

All in all I don't regret it because holy shit, if you can't get over spending €140 3 years ago for hours and hours of fun you might have bigger problems.

I bought a Wii U, i only played it's a me and monster hunter on it. Granted i had a lot of fun with MH there's wasn't much on it i enjoyed, pikman 3 was ok i guess, looked really good. Traded it on for drugs when i became a neet, don't know what that says about me or system but there's that. I can safely say i enjoyed my ps3 more though.

I never bought one, I figured that I would get one when the price comes down. I even bought a Wii U Pro Controller to use for my PC since I wanted a controller with a proper d-pad, intending to also use it with my Wii U when I eventually bought one. But Nintendo decided to kill the Wii U, which means I saved £300. Now that the console is dead, the only games that really interest me are Bayonetta 2 and Tropical Freeze, so I'm hoping they receive Switch ports too.

I'll get a Switch simply because I can play it comfortably in bed before sleep. I hate that the Wii U signal isn't strong enough for the gamepad to work if its detached from the console more than a couple of meters/through walls. I like the idea of having a system hooked up in the living room and still be able to use it in the bedroom whenever I want.

The Wii U gimmick just wasn't simple and intuitive as the Wii's was, which turned away many causals and third-parties. It was like a DS but shittier since you had to tilt your head constantly to use the second screen.
