This.
Grow up weeaboos and start fantasizing about grown up women as well
>paint the tiles you put items on (doors, stairs, chests, etc)
>Coloring pits
Only real niggas color water tho
Walls are the only way to go and aesthetics are faggots.
When does this game come out on eshop USA? I'm in no hurry to download it early since I'm still on EO3.
and only the aesthetic ones are correct, yes.
On topic, the forging thing seems interesting, but is there any reason to not just continually grab the cheapest weapon per stratum, upgrade it, and then recycle for easy ingots on the rare shit? Seems like that would be more efficient than waiting for foes to respawn and such.
I'm having problems now that some tiles look like they have water, but are also walls that it's makes me conflicted.
I don't on doors, but do for chests because you still see the empty tile.
WHO
>voices off
HERE?
Also anyone that doesn't have at least one delicious brown in their party is a pleb.
The dub voices are growing on me, the Villain voice on my male harbinger is so edgy, it's great, and I think I picked the Precocious voice for my potato healer and it fits so well
Made a delicious brown big titty elf warlock with fiery orange hair and the sultry voice
Have fun with no floor jump you filthy water painters
How is this one difficulty wise? is it even easier than untold 2?
Are there customizable mechanics that completely break everything?
Nvm. I guess the shop just hasn't updated yet.
>finally got my copy in the mail today
>turn it on
>voice acting in the opening sequence
>"eh?..."
>voice acting in the town
>no jap voice option
Guess I'm returning this.
Its out right now
The real trouble is deciding what to do with those spots at the edges of the map that go into what appears to be an ocean of infinite water
the voice acting is fine, particularly on the main NPCs. If you really hate I think you can turn it off entirely as well.
just turn off the voices you autist
>plant throws an acorn at you and kills your whole team and the dog
I went with white hair myself.
Where can I get the JP audio? I got the EU version from the freeshop but I don't want to listen to shit dubs.
You can patch it if you have a hacked 3DS, otherwise you can't, Atlus doesn't usually do dual audio
>particularly on the main NPCs
fuck that brownie storekeep tho. Also the ara~ ara~ barkeep sounds too......normal to me. No I don't mean she should sound like sultry.mp3 but DAT BODY and that voice just don't mesh.
>supporting games that give you no undub options
you deserve this
Oh nevermind, just read freeshop
>if my videogames don't have screeching japanese voices i can't play it
>i dont even know japanese, i'm not even japanese, they are sounds to me, but that's my TRUE CULTURE!
Fuck off weeaboo trashbag.
...
I hope you anons all have your character backstories fully written out.
>they are sounds to me
This is what I like the most about it. I would rather play in silence than listen to dubbed English voices. It doesn't even need to be Japanese either -- so long as it's just not english I'm fine with dubs.
If I go 4kat does that just mean I'll have like no defenses and constantly die? Already kinda struggling with that on my swordbunny just from having a Power Ring
>EOV barkeep
THE TIERLISTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED
LOOK AT THOSE BOOBS tier
5, 3
HEY ADVENTURERS WANNA /ss/? tier
1, 4
FUCK OFF AND BRING OUT YOUR BIG SIS NEXT TIME tier
2
That's gay as fuck homo. I treat them like the no name mercenaries they are and I don't care where they came from as long as they die on command.
not him but i didn't particularly like the eng vas.
4kat is a meme build for postgame.
>uuuuh
>ooou
>aaaah
Am I the only one who loves the dub for how cheesy it sounds? It's growing on me.
My favorite is the villain voice, it's so over the top, like when he fails to run away he goes "MISERABLE SHITS"
sub or legendary? what is best?
I apparently never found the golem that opens the stone slab directly across from the down stair on 3F, is it part of some shortcut I'll come back to later or do I just need to scour this floor again
I made it to the second stratum, but I can't warp back to it from town. Surely I don't have to trek all the way from 1F every time?
Man I don't remember 4 starting this brutal. My party keeps dying after collecting the root and soil. I am using a brawler, a shield, a Samurai, a potato healer and a mage.
Should I go for a different composition?
You have to draw the map of the floor before the one you want to fast travel to and register it to the council cookman to unlock it
Generally always go more physically defensive classes in the very beginning then swap them out in a few hours and get the new classes quest exp and monster boost exp
Coloring water did have a purpose in previous titles, I'm just keeping the habit.
wat
I was wondering why all the floors besides 1F were grayed out.
>An enemy's rare drop is impossible with my party setup
Use items to compensate what you can't do?
How many floors did you go through without fast travel dude?
>said rare drop creates an item that's perfect for one of your party members
no poison item yet
For the popping gels?
Everything up to the second stratum.
>kill first boss
>boss item turns into a nice Coffin
>spend my Copper to upgrade it since I can't really farm the boss yet (don't even know how long it takes to respawn)
>go to Stratum 2
>first enemy drops an item that creates a better Coffin that's super easy to upgrade with normal items
Back in the any obstacle was walls. Then FOEs started to fly over smaller walls and you needed to distinguish. Now we live in a terrifyingly sophisticated future where FOEs are actually visible.
yup
???
You need a babysitter, either a dragoon with the personal guard ability or something like a necro with Fierce shield spam.
If you have a pugilist you can craft a good poison weapon from the centipedes. It's really good if you can't deal poison normally if you upgrade it to max.
gotta say, I pooped myself a little the first time I saw a ragelope jump over a puddle to fuck me up.
Bodyguard skills on dragoon and necro allow you to babysit. Probably you want both Drag and necro so they can alternate
Bosses and FOEs equipment usually give special skills though.
You're only missing shields and you can get slightly better ones a few floors later without rare mats.
>Those tiles that are a combination of both water and walls
Fucking kill me
Might want to compare unique stats and skills, the Owlbear's item makes a staff that I won't be giving up for a long while because of its bonus move, maybe the coffin is similar. If not then yeah that's pretty lame.
>That owlbear staff that grants a pretty good 1TP fire spell
This shit is so good, nearly done with the second stratum and I still don't want to replace it
Upgrading the item also upgrade the skill it gives but it also increases tp cost, though it's 4 or 5 tp at max level iirc. You can check it during a fight.
i actually had that weapon and recycled it a while ago. Probably not a bad idea to go back and grab it again, just for stuff like this.
Anyone know the rare item drop condition of the scorps on 6th
petrify.
Gotta petrify them
fuckn
Thanks m8s
>Using the Pepper Cannon that inflicts blind on my dragoon since she does no damage either way
>It actually procs pretty often
This is great, I hope there are more status effect cannons out there
>since she does no damage either way
Put some points in cannon mastery bro.
4kat will pretty much die if it gets hit by anything once, period. In general use, it will get hit and it will die more than any other party member.
That said, 3kat using only layered bloom probably matches blade master in terms of damage output thanks to peerless demon even factoring in rebloom's lowered chance, and having a slot of armor makes them less prone to dying when sneezed at. Even 2kat is still pretty decent for such a simple ability to spam. The biggest boon is that 2kat being able to put out 6 hits of hell slash is still crazy fucking strong compared to most damage dealers, and 3kat's 9 is equal to or more than any sane party will reach anyway.
Earthlain is another option I guess, but there's no way to add enough bulk to one actually using 4 katanas without dedicated babysitters.
Anyone knows where i can plant the Seed of Truth?
You get a staff in the second stratum that is basically feather staff+1, except replace fire with volt. That said, the damage will drop off eventually since spells are no longer solely reliant on TEC/INT to deal damage.
Somewhere in the 2nd stratum (I think the 7th or 8th floor?) there's a chest with a bow that gives you a petrify skill. Clearly exists just so you can use it on the scorpions.
I wish the Necro could summon a variety of undead that served different purposes, ie zombie tank/skeleton dps/ghost aliments/etc.
Is that the quest in the third stratum? There is a sunlit patch in the north of 11F you should be able to plant it.
Yeah, I was never in love with the damage really, just that it gave my early game shaman a way to not be a waste of space. Do you know what the new spell calculation is roughly?
it has to be petrified when it dies, yes? Literally fucked up just now when my shaman went later than she normally does and killed it before my 2nd attempt at petrify gas went off.
>Pouting Broni
Yep, it has to be petrified when it dies.
Also keep in mind that petrify halves physical damage taken. It does last several turns though so you don't have to use it right before it dies if you have some good magic damage.
Then it'd be like the Hound.
Then the hound would activate its skills by sacrificing the animals.
That's not a good idea. You want to have better weapons on casters to now because of the m. attack stat, before it really didn't matter since weapons didn't affect spells unless they had tec on them
I'm not sure about it exactly, but I'm pretty sure that INT and a weapon's magic attack are now given the same weighting. Same for STR attacks, as well as VIT and armor defense.
Thinking about it, 2kat would be very similar to a chain fencer, just with a much easier chain to trigger. Layered bloom's 500% average (then peerless demon boosts that) vs multi-stab's 612.5%. Chain fencer has more defense-oriented passives (blind + sylph screen), while masurao has better offense ones along with a great offensive buff and debuff.
So basically it takes stripping away 2 katanas to make blade dancer a pretty balanced class.
After a bit of googling, a found a pastebin of known formula the game uses, if you want the specifics.
pastebin.com
Also, omnimancers status inflictions (arm bind, stun and petrify) as well as chain blast use INT instead LUC. That sounds fucking fantastic.
Apparently rover has decent healing, is that enough for her to be the only healer in the party?
Animal therapy's healing and the hound's healing are really helpful early on but they drop off later on. So I would say no.
Thanks!
How is Shaman healing? Is it with putting points into the skill that heals upon using other skills?
How do you unlock Legendary Names? Is it through a quest or once you get to a certain level?
Haven't played an EO game before. Can someone redpill me on the QR codes?
I'm enjoying it, its funny to hear my Warlock go "Whomp Whomp" when you can't gather anymore or my Fencer spazzing out when panicked and saying 'There is soooo mannnny to chooosse from..."
Painting tiles you can't step on too much might make the council refuse to register your map, robbing you of easy floor access
I wish this would be on the Switch.
EO6 will be
r-right?
I'm only on stratum 2 but I think it could work, a major plus of the hound is that it has a targeted heal that also innately removes ailments.
i'm pretty sure it sold well enough and as long as none of the core design guys quit i can't see a reason why they wouldn't keep the series going
The crit stuff is awesome. Only relative luck counts. Sword God is a genuine trippled rate maxxing at 90%. Shouldn't be too hard to get an Earthlain Masurao to 33% crits even against bosses. That's functionally a flat extra 25% damage on that spammed Helm Splitter, making it a 800% attack. Apply shaman accuracy buff and relax.
>he doesn't know
About to finish the second stratum and I have yet to have that issue after painting every single water and pit tile I encounter
