I play 1/2 or 1/3 of every new game I buy, then restart. I do this to learn the mechanics and shit. Then I do my real playthrough.
AUTISTIC VIDYA HABITS
ANSWER ME YOU FUCKING PIGS.
Im not as bad anymore but at one point my OCD was so bad i would play games longer just so my save time was at like 30 hours exactly instead of 29 hours and 22 minutes. Also when i save and quit games my inventory must be organized and clean
Why do so many gamers experience OCD shit?
i always reload if my gun isnt at cap, even if its just 1 bullet missing
in kf2 i spam the idle animation button
i bhop in any game
I do this too, especially if the game had any meaningful longterm decisions.
This isn't autism, it's merely a desire to do your best and fix your mistakes.
I do the same. In most cases it's because I hit a massive roadblock in the story, and realize all the gameplay mechanics that I missed out on until then. The satisfaction of doing things right is what cases those actions, then I hit the roadblock again, and just drop the game.
In Destiny 2 when something is flashing at the tower, I have to go and turn in the coins. I can't stockpile coins for shit.
It only seems like a lot because they are a very loud minority.
I don't get stuck easy. I do like fixing my mistakes, though. There's no way to know what skills you truly want without a test playthrough.
- I don't play games with female protagonists
- I always double save to make sure
- I stop right before the ending of a game, take a week long break from it, then finish.
> I stop right before the ending of a game, take a week long break from it, then finish
why you do dis
Because I get bored.
Don't you lose momentum / attachment to the game for waiting for so long?
The reloading thing is the only one I notice, but I got it real bad
No, I just regain my interest in the game after a week and pick up easily.
I never finish games unless I'm really enjoying it and forget about my autism.
I never finish anything. Fucking anxiety.
>no female protagonists
bro. you're missing out on... uhhh... Tomb Raider? Metroid? ... Nier?
yeah that's about it. nevermind
>Tomb Raider
Never like the old ones. I can play Uncharted if I want too.
>Metroid
Not my type of game even though I liked Axiom Verge
>Nier
You can play as a male right? I like the first Nier better anyway.
I've only played Womb Raider out of those. It's bretty gud I guess.
There's not actually too many 'good' games with female protagonists now that I think about it.
oh, Alien: Isolation I can't finish this fucking game. It's too scary
>I stop right before the ending of a game, take a week long break from it, then finish.
Were we twins separated at birth, user?
I don't know, are you 27?
Not me, but my dad would literally collect every single gun in Halo 1/2 and would swap cycle them to every area of the game so that he always had a stockpile of guns around.
I know someone who didn't finish games and he told me that it was because "so I never beat it for the first time" I don't know what he meant but maybe it's because he has more motivation to come back and replay it. He only seems to do it on certain games though.
I always have 3 saves, 111 222 and 333
