I finally hacked my PSP the other night and am now on the look out for games to fill my time and library. Any of you guys have fond memories of hidden gems I may not know about, or even games everyone knows about but you still love to death?

Also, psp/emulation thread

How did you do it?

isnt MGacid some kind of card game? ive beaten 1-5 and peace walker, is it really that different or is it like the others?

I've been playing a ton of puyo puyo 20th anniversary on my PSP lately.
The game is only available in japanese but you don't need to know how to read it to play the game.

googled it and followed the instructions. basically it was download this, copy it there, run the program and boom - nigh-infinite games.

only problem is my current memory stick can hold 3 at most, got another one on the wy

Thank you

MGA is a tactical stealth card game, yes. Plays nothing like the other games obviously, but pretty much has everything you'd expect from them like their batshit stories, etc. They're noncanon and play out in a timeline where snake didn't get old as fuck. First game is ok, but the sequel is really damn good.

sounds worth checking out. do i need to play 1 before 2 or are they not so story related?

They're slightly connected but it's not important. I'd still play the first before though to really appreciate the amount of polishing that went on.

cool. will do when i have the space

Can a psp emulate a GBA well?

>He doesnt knows

Is there an easy way to get ps1 games on the psp with good banners and spash screens?

can emulate gba, nes, genesis, snes, gb, and gbc. there is a n64 and nds emulator but last time i checked, they doesnt work so well

Is there anyway to get ps1 games in without having to fuck with eboot files and shit?

i would like to know this as well

been years since i last did this. i believe you have to convert the ps1 file into one that is compatible with psp. search it up on google, should tell you exactly what you should do to get it working

Get already converted stuff off the net so you don't have to fiddle with them, cause in my experience it's a lot of pain in the ass, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. And what I mean by that is they never want to fucking work.

Do you have brain problems?

All the preconverted ones are English versions of the games. I want JP ones. Guess I'll have to do it myself manually.

>I want JP ones
Wow, even better then. I wish you luck, seriously. I doubt it's worth the effort though.

probably, dont remember how any of this stuff works anymore

Well I have the games I want and I have been converting them myself manually it's just time consuming if I want to play a game really quick. Especially old forgotten jrpgs, sometimes I spend more time converting them than playing them because they are so bad. Almost better to emulate them on my phone first.

>probably, dont remember how any of this stuff works anymore

Pretty much me when I try to do anything but play psp games on my psp. I used to know everything.
