I wish Bethesda would give them the recent StarCraft 1 treatment. I would love to see Fallout 1 and 2 with nice crisp backgrounds and sprite work.

New Vegas: Johnny Guitar ad nauseam.

Fallout 4: Survival mode in addition to base-building allows for a thrilling experience of making a network of settlements and refuges by which to survive.

New Vegas: Infinite money supplied by "New World Blues" spoils all survival elements.

Fallout 4: Power armour feels lifelike; as if you were really inside it.

New Vegas: Power armour is merely another suit of armour, and you have to go through a contorted set of circumstances in order to train for it and obtain it.

Fallout 4: Explores questions of artificial intelligence, scientific progress versus social justice, and so much more.

New Vegas: False caricature of a democracy versus false caricature of the Roman Empire under a tyrannical emperor. Simplistic "good versus evil" mentality. Mr House so obviously the correct choice that as the third faction he does little to correct this.

Fallout 4: Vibrant colours, realistic, next-generation graphics.

New Vegas: All the models look stiff and awkward and plastic; everything is tinted orange.

Fallout 4: 14 companions all with their own fascinating back-stories, from Hancock who made himself a ghoul and Danse, the Brotherhood Paladin with an astonishing secret to the witty and lively Piper and good old Nick.

New Vegas: Clunky dull companions like Boone with quests so complicated that one has to read a Wiki in order to find out how to activate them.

Fallout 4: Realistic gunplay.

New Vegas: Gunplay almost as flawed as that of Fallout 3. Nothing reacts when it gets hit.

Fallout 4: An enormous, vibrant and diverse world to explore, from the Glowing Sea to the City of Boston.

New Vegas: The barren strip is the solitary exception to a monotonous desert.

I enjoyed Fallout 3 and it's DLC much, much more.

I've only seen ones that make the resolution better. I've haven't come across one that can clean it up and overhaul it like they did with StarCraft.

I don't care about the fucking radio station, it kills the atmosphere, only used it for the news messages in towns. Vegas uses Mark Morgans old ambient and this is better than anything you find in FO3 or 4.

Yeah this was all pretty great but there's one problem, you can't have a bunch of cool ideas and neat little things without proper execution of said ideas. Which 4 failed at.

It's a fun game but it shouldn't have been a fallout game. I would have been completely ok with it had it been a new series title with a linear story from the get go.

1 and 2 are objectively better

Really though, all you have to do is pick out the letters that look appropriate from the ones that don't, and for the harder ones separate them into chunks where the sequence of letters are close together on the keyboard.
