Gamepass + EA access on the Xbox is the ultimate poorfag subscription now. Luckily I can afford to buy my games, but if I was dirt poor it's literally the best thing on the market to play mass amounts of games that aren't humble bundle shit.

We finally have a smooth UI, it's weird. It was never PS4 ugly, but it never ran for fuck. Now it's actually responsive.

Shit I did it solely for the Shantae game, and it was more than worth.
Why pay 30$ for a game you can 100% in like a week just to uninstall and never play again when you can pay 10$ for the game and a fuck ton more games to play for a month

I feel so bad. I got one for X-Man last year and have barely touched it. The worst part is that it would probably be loved as much as the PS4 had Don Mattrick not been in charge leading up to the system's launch.

The new UI is way better than the ps4s now. I own both consoles and overall the Xbox one is better now feature wise, functionality wise, support wise etc and only lacks in the games department but hopefully we get more good games like cuphead and hopefully crackdown 3 is good also.

I actually cloudn't agree more. I have both as well and I love how you can easily get custom themes on PS4, but the point is moot when most of the themes don't aesthetically fit well with the forced blue boxes. PS4 and XBO need to flip their strongest pros and they'd both be perfect consoles. Better functionality and backwards compatibility for PS4, and a better library of exclusives for the Xbox.

Yeah I love both of the consoles. I'm currently playing yakuza 0 on ps4 and Catherine via back compat on Xbox. They both have their strong points but I get the feeling MS are pushing harder to try and satisfy the customer now especially with all the new features they've added in this new UI and general back compat support all the way to Xbox OG. Hopefully the market competition makes Sony change their stuff up a bit now too because the UI feels really dated and a bit boring now.

Slims? I have the OG versions. One thing I will say is that even though I regularly clean my ps4 it still sounds like a jet engine so I might try swap it for a slim which is absolutely miles quieter. The Xbox is whisper quiet all the time which I like.

Apparently it's going to be literal plug and play without having to download a recompiled version for x86 since the OG Xbox had x86 hardware whereas the Xbox 360 had powerpc architecture which requires recompiling to work with the x86 processor in the Xbox. It's also why ps3 emulation on ps4 is practically impossible even if they try and act like they're just not doing it because "nobody cares".
