No you fool. Everybody got that coupon.

Its your choice dude but I found it fun

why not?

Seems like a reasonable deal if you are wanting to play that game. It's cheaper than the price for the gold edition on most key sites.

Should I?

no!

And that makes it worthless how?
Maybe

...

What is your favorite video game, then we can decide

...

Eh maybe.

It's a tie between Banjo and Nier

I was going to say that Civ VI was the worst but then I remembered Beyond Earth exist

do it

No, it fucking sucks.

No, wait for the ultimate compilation edition.

>not just playing v until the vi complete deluxe ultra edition goes on sale for $5 in 3 years at the summer sale

I didn't.

Log out and log in and you'll get it.

Go play Aurora instead.

Well Civ V with all the expansions is regularly on sale for like a dollar or whatever, so if you wait a bit more it'll probably rapidly decrease in price.

>so if you wait a bit more

Yes, if you wait over five years you'll be able to get Civ VI for cheap in a complete edition.

kill yourself

civ games are tile minmaing games

fucking gay

Buy superior BTS instead

Caveman 2 Cosmos?

Wait for the expansions

I've heard that as vanilla, its better than civ 5 vanilla, but civ 5 with expansions crushes it.

yep. go get a chair, preferably a stool. make sure to tighten it a good amount before you kick the stool away

yes

rumors say that a single playthrough takes an entire millennia, and that no man has lived to see late-game and tell the tale

>paying $80 for a videogame

pic related, it's that delicious corporate cock you're sucking

Fuck fucking no. Wait till everything comes out or just pirate. Fuck there hasn't even been a major expansions yet either. Just shitty DLCs

Jesus is that a gnome?

>spend first 50 turns against 6 AI not interacting with them
I don't get CIVs and why people like them.

Don't play on large maps without enough AI.

Its mostly about being more efficient and planning better than the other players/AI.

Its not for the impatient or shortsighted.

long term strategy, you retarded nigger

People like strategy and building up their empire. Though Civ does start to feel kind of braindead to play if you play it long enough. There's plenty of other games in the genre though.

get civ 5 + dlcs

you wouldn't a gnome?

First 50 turns are you exploring the map and building a foundation for your Empire

I really like Endless Legend
What are some key differences between Civ 5, Civ 6, and Endless Legend? Thinking about picking up Endless Space 2 unless someone convinces me otherwise

It also only takes about ten minutes because you're not micro-managing much. It's when you decide to grind the turns to a halt by declaring war or something that it takes forever.

there is almost 100% of the time an obvious optimal path

it is braindead. it lacks strategic elements or counterplay

it is sim city but you can get raided

>paying $80 for a video game
>subtotal $39.99
Unless you're prematurely counting being jewed for the expansions, you're very bad at math.

>it is sim city but you can get raided
sounds fun desu senpai

You're oversimplifying it

>play HOTS because of Chromie
>get the Fel Queen skin
>can't play without getting an erection
>stop playing HOTS because I can't handle it

Chromie is a fucking treasure.

if the game doesnt seem simple to you it's because you aren't smart

the ai also outright cheats
>information age rival
>caputure his capital
>no factories, only a granary and 2 hammers

>Steam
No, just pirate it.

I still think V is more fun than VI. I really liked diplomatic victory.

I find war/religious victories to be tedious. Too much micromanagement of units. But science is "just wait for stuff to build: the victory", and culture is a little better.

Diplomacy made me feel like a real big dick nigga with standing in the world. It gave me an unreasonable amount of pleasure to buy someone else's delegates.

Haven't played the latest patch though, is it okay? Installing it on my laptop now.

It just feels like a chore, especially in a turn based game where you have to wait the AI make their moves.
There's no strategy to passing 15 turns to make 1 building.

diplomacy is easily the orst part of the game from a design perspective

there is no negotiation or ability to suggest mutual interest. only outright bribery

the guys are social justice fags and have no clue about programing

AI cheats in every strategy game

That is an issue with Civ V and VI

The game just feels considerably slower than it's predecessors, from loading times to low production

yes but in this case it breaks all strategy because there is no strategic value to capturing enemy cities

if they ant to bias defense fine. but this is retarded and like diplomacy is a cover for their poor programming ability

Yes

In 6? Yes diplomacy.relations with other CIVs is fucking awful.

But I liked it in 5, voting and buying delegates was fun. I didn't like how unappealing most of the proposals were though, there were like one or two that were actually good for the player.

Endless Legend for the lore and art style while Civ for game play but really they're both on par with each other

no just get the best civ for free

$80, you could feed the entire Africa with that

what coupon?
