Vidya music cover/remix thread? Either official remix or not. Can we discuss and share opinions on these? Here's one of my favorites.

Bumping to hear some new shit. Here's a fave of mine.
Oldie but a goodie youtube.com
PPF is godly
i remember when some guys tried to get a Sup Forums vidya music cover group thing going
too bad the performances sucked and weren't even memeworthy entertaining
Probably my favorite arrangement album. So much energy in that violin.
youtube.com
Really? Was it just vocals? Or were actual instruments involved as well?
instruments
but the performances were like, mediocre bad
not bad like "LOL" bad but "ehhhh do you guys give a shit at all" bad
if it was LOL bad it'd be shared all around the place
Holy shit. That's a shame.
That cover reminded me of this one. DKC2 music is too based
inorite
it's unfortunate because there are people in japan, just normal fans who like playing instruments, they gather up and it feels like they put their heart into it, like they give a fuck
then you listen to these guys and it just sounds like "yeah whatever i'm not getting paid for this anyway *plays badly synchronized part with no sense of rhythm or tuning*"
I laughed
I can't believe that being able to read sheets culminated in this
Shit, I forgot mine

Dr.Pez and Insaneintherain are cool dudes. Good stuff
>You're a MiLaaSo
Ok?
use the ABC notation
youtube.com
Damn near everything from Koei had a godlike soundtrack.
good shit!
Assuming you're using D as your Do, it'd be MeSoFa
you're a FAG. Though I don't understand the 4/4 half not on the A when you could just make it 3/4 and make it all quarter notes.
Official remix you say?

Tifa in Ehrgeiz, GOD BLESS THE RING!
Insaneintherain's got some really interesting jazz covers.
this whole channel
Anything by Uematsu's band The Black Mages

Still a god tier cover. I wish there were tabs for this one.
YOURE A FAAG
WAAW
>concert C key signature, meaning C is Do
>implying F would be Mi and not Fa
was whatever at first, but got really amazing.
youtube.com
Remember finding this in like 2009
>that ending
>that outro
Good shit my dude thanks for the find never heard of em.
Surprised this wasn't posted yet.
Because everyone and their mother has listened to this already
Top tier
My first time on Sup Forums in almost a year and I somehow manage to find a video of mine shared by someone. Was not expecting that lol. Xenoblade X is some good stuff
Well good job on whatever one you did
Because for the past 4 years at least it's been posted in damn near every video game music thread, each getting at least 5 replies of generic CHRAZY gifs. It gets old.
Don't know which you are, but keep up the good work. Do you plan on doing some Xenoblade 2 covers?
but that doesnt spell fag
PMD Piano Arrangements are great.

that wolfenstein thread you spammed wasn't enough faggotry to spread, wasn't it bitch boy?
Thanks, user!
Thanks, buddy. It's always appreciated. I actually did one song from the game so far. Youtube algorithm kind of messed up covers for me though. Low stats and "not advertisement friendly". Taking a small break because my originals are doing much better, but I would love to return and do some Xeno 2. The soundtrack sounds amazing so far.
You realize there's more than one Anonymous on Sup Forums, right?
Avatarfagging is against the rules

Best remix of any tune in this game I've ever heard.
Maybe best video game BGM remix I've ever heard.
>Post an image relevant to my post and an image in reaction to yours
>I'm now avatarfagging
>And also a samefag from a thread I never posted in?
Gotta love how the smallest mention of Undertale still to this day triggers faggot like you's autism.
This is god damn smooth. Diggin' it.

This shit again? Man, let's get some uncommon tunes.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't like SSH.
music n00b here
So when somebody is showing the chords in a key, they always go up the scale. so CEG is chord 1 in C Major, then they go up to D-minor which is chord 2, etc.
Can you go down to the lower octave and play a D-minor? Or do you always have to go up?

I still like modern Falcom but there's something magical about late 80s/early 90s Falcom music that they just don't have anymore.
Personally, going from C to Dm, I recommend first inversion, especially if you're going to G after, which is extremely likely, which you can then play in second inversion, making for a nice constant G during the inveitable switch back to C.

Unfortunately he got seriously injured in a car wreck and can't play the piano again as of now.
tfw half of my music library are 2hu arranges
I'm a Fa La Sol?

This shit's great. Cannon Ball is a great foundation for remixes and arrangements.
What? this man was a genius. That is an incredible shame. Is it permanent? Or is there a chance he can play piano again one day?
It's a slow recovery according to one of the videos. It doesn't help that he's already pretty old so he can't heal as quickly.
orchestr/a/'s collab instrumentals are decent if you're into anime OPs and assorted weebshit.
