i have NEVER understood the appeal of this series, i have always preferred forza and PGR over it. i played GT3 which is supposedly the best one and i was bored out of my mind.

This isn't a mainline title that's centered around online multiplayer. Got the Limited Edition and have been enjoying it since launch. Stay mad.

It does save even if there's connectivity issues. I went through hell to get a Gold on a mission and the server managed to go down right when I did but it kept my result regardless.

Im probably the only one who enjoyed this game alot more than GT 5 and 6 cus this always online fiasco helps filters out the normies. finally i can have proper civilised online races without those faggots bumping and going destruction derby all over the place. GT sport is a patrician game for racing fans. Only thing that bothers me is the lack of cars.

Not that surprising that this would turn to shit after the fiasco that was GT5 and GT6. The series took a painful dive with 5 and was good as dead with 6, for fans anyway.

Online PC sims like iRacing have literally been doing what GTS does (and more comprehensively) for the last 8+ years.

I'm hopeful for the free post-launch content they'll add. Kaz is ridiculously passionate about what he does to the point where this game would have come out last year if he wasnt dissatisfied with it.

Gran Turismo 2 doesn't have this problem.

The main dev said he considers Sport a platform and theyre gonna add a lot to it over time. I dont know if they'll add a lot of shitboxes like the old games but they do have plans for a few hundred more cars.

You could spend a lot of time and effort building the framework for a game with the bare minimum of content, release that and rake in the cash, then a few years later release the real game that's just the framework people already bought but with more content

Oh I agree. They really fucked up Forza 7. I was actually almost excited to buy it (for PC) until I read about the loot boxes and abandonment of credit rewards for disabling assists. I'll pirate it if I can find a crack for it, and if they fix it I'll buy it, but they really fucked up.

Have has no issues so far, granted i haven't used the lobby feature yet just the online race feature that automatically matches you

True the simulation aspect of that game is impressive but theres just something about the car models in GT compared to other racing games that does it for me... Kinda hard to explain but it makes you feel like youre looking at a real car in showroom and when you buy/drive that car it really feels like you own it. And the driving itself is really comfy too.

didn't try a lobby match game though but the online aspect made to be more like a season worjs for now at least
maybe not the championship who knows

Save for the lack of content, the game feels pretty good to play, with the proper DLC it will be great
