Not sure about the fifth, an MMO would probably be good but I'm only familiar with Runescape and wouldn't recommend that in its current state.
Maybe replace SMB with Super Metroid and put a good RPG there.
A bowl of diarrhea. It's complete shit but at least it runs.
Good list, I'd replace Super Metroid with Vanilla WoW and that covers it

(1.) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
How do you measure a game by its greatness? Do you go by critical acclaim? Shigeru Miyamoto's 1998 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, is the highest critically rated game ever. Scoring the highest average of perfect tens than any game in history. Do you measure a game's greatness by its loyal fanbase? Ocarina of Time has won more popular votes and 'best game' polls than any other game. Or do you measure a game's legacy by innovation? From Grand Theft Auto to Dark Souls, lock-on targeting is now a staple in video game design—popularized and made standard by Ocarina of Time. No matter how you examine Nintendo's most cherished and beloved title, Ocarina of Time is second to none.
The soundtrack is Koji Kondo's finest work. Brilliant beyond words, the music heard within the game could never be forgotten. Who could forget the sad, yet hopeful voice of Malon as she hummed the LonLon Ranch melody? Or the catchy rhythm heard inside the Lost Woods? Perhaps the most chilling is the Windmill Hut theme. A haunting tune that echoes in your mind months after you've heard it. Kondo composed a perfect musical score, not just for video games but for music in general. Anyone who loves music should hear it.
Ocarina's storyline, while simple at heart, is amazingly done. Link, a young boy from the forest, leaves home to travel the land of Hyrule. He must leave behind his childhood friend, Saria. Somehow she always knew Link was different. And when he finally journeys on his quest from the forest, she gives him a parting gift. The scenes between Link and Saria are beautiful.
The pinnacle of our industry, Ocarina of Time is a masterpiece—the crowning achievement in video gaming. It was the greatest video game of all-time when it was released in 1998. Almost two decades later, it still is.
(2.) Grand Theft Auto III
The year is 2001. A sequel to Metal Gear Solid is talk of the town, Microsoft is landing into the gaming scene with Halo, Nintendo is going CD, a new Game Boy is being released, the Tony Hawk craze is still in full swing, and Pokemon fever is running wild. The sixth generation of gaming is pre-planned and set.
All that is about to change.
From out of nowhere, GTA 3 hits the scene and made everyone go, "What the hell is that?! Now THIS is the kind of game I wanna be playing." Rockstar North set the bar high. Probably higher than anyone ever before them. GTA 3 was a hybrid of racing, action and mature themes set in an amazing open-world. Time is forgetting GTA 3, and so is the gaming community, as sadly, it's started to be neglected by gamers who didn't follow the industry as well as game journalist did. But, to anyone who truly knows and followed gaming history, they will tell you GTA 3's impact has no equals.
Electric Playground ranked it the number one game ever, and Game Informer magazine ranked it number four. Half-Life 2 is amazing, but when it comes to the sixth generation of gaming, GTA 3 ruled.
This fucker knows
Halo 2

Super mario 64

You get my praise, user.
Best list
Whatever you write, it actually misses so much.
Super Mario 64
Dark Souls
Minecraft
World of Tanks
Tera
Would be my list but in the end even a faggot like me knows that there should be some fifa or sportsgames, even if they are shit. Some 2D games as well or things like sims 1, rollercoaster tycoon or openttd or something. Hell shit like warframe, league of faggots, ass ass in creed, blastcorps, diddy kong racing, zelda 2d stuff and zelda OoT or MM, call of duty, need for speed, tekken, neptunia and some horrible written VNs at least. I would not be able to pin down videogamehistory with just 5 games. Of course some games I named are shit but I think one should know about it.
